Went here on a Friday at 4pm ish. I've been here before and the food is awesome. The bussers and bartenders are great. The actual servers consist mostly of these unfriendly ladies that cut straight to the chase. "Hi, you ready to order?" Type of greeting Our server tried to sit the two of us at a 6 person round table by the host stand. Immediately I realized that this lady doesn't want to get sat big parties. She asked us if we were ready to order right when she sat us lol. Not even 10 seconds for us to take our coats off. After we took a few breaths to scan out the menu...we placed our order. Mixed drinks are GREAT. Harlot with grapefruit is really good. Food is great. The food runners are the real stars. Our waitress finally came around and asked if we needed anything else. We asked for the check and 40 min went by before some other unfriendly lady came by and said " I heard you guys were waiting on your check? " We gave her our card before she could leave and she dropped it off with a "thanks have a good one " and stormed off. Really bad service . During the 40 min of us waiting we had time to walk around the place and look for our original waitress and saw she was eating starbursts from a basket and just chilling. I signaled to her that I wanted the check and she rolled her eyes like ugh and still didn't bring it. Eventually we pulled one of the bartenders and asked him for the check and he I guess told some other girl about it. The behavior by the bartender and the new girl that brought us our check made us feel like we were the problem and somehow it was our fault that we were there at bussed table with nothing on it for...
Read moreAs a vendor fortunate enough to work with The Gem Saloon on their recent fundraiser event, I have to say, it was an absolute pleasure! Working with their team was a dream—from the initial planning stages to the execution of the event, everything was seamless.
The Gem Saloon's dedication to creating memorable experiences for their guests is truly inspiring. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence ensured that every aspect of the event, from the Kentucky Derby theme to the philanthropic initiatives supporting Harlem Lacrosse and CityLAX, was executed flawlessly.
Collaborating with The Gem Saloon on our 360 Booth setup was a highlight. Their enthusiasm for incorporating innovative elements into their events is evident, and it's no surprise that the booth was a hit with attendees, capturing countless unforgettable moments.
What impressed me the most, however, was The Gem Saloon's genuine passion for giving back to the community. Their support for worthy causes like youth empowerment through sports is admirable and reflects their values as an establishment.
Kudos to The Gem Saloon and their exceptional team for their professionalism, creativity, and commitment to making a positive impact. It was an honor to be part of such a fantastic event, and we look forward to future...
Read moreI have come here three times and every time the food is good.
Something that you should definitely order here for appetizers: the chicken wings and the cauliflower bites that tastes literally like BBQ chicken wings. To eat: birria tacos.
Today we had: wings, cauliflower bites, quesadillas, cheeseburger and birria tacos.
• The wings and cauliflower were so delicious as always. • The quesadillas and cheeseburger were good, the fries are always tasty. • The birria tacos were AMAZING, I’m Mexican and these tacos do taste like the original ones, a MUST TRY here.
The only reason why I don’t give 5 stars is that if you come when they aren’t busy the food and service is 10/10 but if you come when it’s busy the service is not good and the food is not that amazing, is good but not as good as when there’s fee people.
Feedback for restaurant: you should keep the quality top ALWAYS because your restaurant is good so it’s worthy to...
