Andre was our waiter, he came to the table about 60 secs after we were seated. He asked what we would like to drink. He got our drinks right away. When he returned to the table with our drinks and we had browsed over the menu and knew what we wanted to order. He took our order and then made some suggestions on how to save some money and still get what we had a taste for. My wife and I watched as Andre and the hostess did their jobs. Surprisingly not once did we see them pull out their phones and look at it. We were so astonished they never did, normally in today's work atmosphere almost everyone especially the younger people are always on their phones. Talking or watching videos and not observing the customers or just being good representatives of the establishment that they work for. My wife's food came out sizzling hot on her plate,, Andre told me that he noticed that my plate had the red sauce that I did not want on it so he told the cook to make a new plate without the red sauce. About 10 minutes latter my food came out smoking hot as well and very tasty. Andre made sure that our glasses were full until we said that we had enough to drink. We asked him to get his store mgr and some to go containers When the manager came over to the table she was polite as well, but we could tell that she wasn't sure what issue was. My wife and I began telling her that her staff was on point and very efficient. We told her, how we observed the staff and it was just a wonderful experience dining at Applebee's today. She then informed us that Andre had only been on the job for 2 wks and the hostess was fairly new as well. She stated that she has been there for about 8 months and they had gotten a new head store Mgr and new changes were put in place. Great job ! Thanks Applebee's for...
Read moreMy experience at this location wasn’t too good, even though the food itself was decent. The biggest issue came from the overall environment, which felt neglected and poorly maintained. The bathrooms, in particular, were a nightmare — they honestly looked like something out of a horror movie. Trash was piled up and running over near a small corner sink, the mirrors looked like something picked up from a thrift store, and the stand-up urinals splashed back when flushed, which was unsanitary and uncomfortable. On top of that, I noticed an exposed outlet that seemed like a serious safety hazard, especially for any kids who might get curious.
The dining area wasn’t much better. Tables were left uncleaned and the setup felt rushed and thoughtless. These details may seem small, but they completely change the atmosphere and make the experience less enjoyable. A restaurant should never overlook cleanliness and safety, and here it felt like both were pushed aside.
As for service, the waitress was clearly frustrated, and it was easy to see why — the cook walked out right in the middle of rush hour, leaving her scrambling to keep everything afloat. Even so, I respect her for keeping her composure and doing her best under the circumstances. Still, the lack of staff support and poor management reflected in the overall experience.
While the food was decent enough, the environment and service issues outweighed the positives. With improvements to cleanliness, safety, and staffing, this location could be so much better. For now, I’d rate my...
Read moreBoy, this was truly awful.
I never go to chain restaurants, almost never unless I have no choice. When I do I certainly don't choose the worst of the worst, which is what Applebees usually is.
Unfortunately I had family over for the holidays and they're all boomers and like giving their money to sub-par chain restaurants.
The place was pretty empty at the time yet for whatever reason they decided to stick us in the same corner of the restaurant where everyone else was. Most of the rest of the restaurant was empty and quiet yet we were stuck in an area with like 4 other families nearby. It was noisy, and the other customers were disgusting, belching and talking loudly and it was just so on-brand for this kind of restaurant. Again, we were like 4-5 tables all clustered together in the corner of the restaurant.
The food came to us at an average speed, and I got the riblets, their "new dish" and it was 50% bone, and 25% fat chunks. Not a lot of actual meat.
My wife found a piece of plastic in her dish, she only bothered to tell me that once we had left the restaurant otherwise I'd have complained and they had the HARDEST time figuring out whether certain foods were safe for people with allergies. My son has horrible food allergies and they were not prepared with satisfactory answers on what he could and could not eat.
To be clear, this is exactly what I expected when my family forced us to go here. No surprise that it was an awful experience.
1/5 would never eat here again. Not letting my family coerce me...
