Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Newnan

Oh were do I start about this hot mess of a place. I love hungry howies would eat it everyday if it wasn't bad food here. Well when I walked in a waited a while before someone came to take my order which made me notice a sign saying there was a coupon on the back of a kroger receipt. I just happened to have one because I left kroger 5 minutes before I got to this store. Well after ordering $60 worth of full priced food he said he couldn't take the coupon so I asked what could I do to make it a little cheaper. We ended up downsizing my sub to save $5. Now $55 later I find almost no meat or cheese on either sub all dough and my husband large steak and mushroom sub was all mushrooms. Please can I have some steak with my mushrooms next time. You know what there won't be a next time this food isn't worth $55 to $60 and I wish I never came here. I asked for extra butter on the subs and all the food was dry like no butter was used. The wings were supposed to be boneless they weren't and the 3 cheeser bread was dry regular howie bread. 3 cheeser bread in any hungry howies not only is not dry but when you pull it apart you see the cheese this didn't happen. Got this service a while ago I was so mad I never went back and took a while to write this review because I wanted to write this with a level head not out of anger of being ripped off $55 for some of the worse food ever served. Anyone who thinks this food is good they need to leave Georgia and go to a real hungry howies and try real pizza not this. I will never waste my money here ever again. Let me start with I have ordered from this location lots of times. However this last experience was not the best. I wanted to feed my family some delicious Hungry Howie’s pizza. So I ordered my food over the phone like I always do at 7:05PM I told the man on the phone that I wanted two pizzas exactly the same. He then confirmed the ordered saying two pizzas and told me 45 mins- 1 hour for delivery. Which is totally understandable so no issue there. I check the clock and at this time it showed 8:30PM and still no pizza or phone call with an update. So I decided to call back up to the location where I got Amanda. She placed me on a hold to go “check the box” to see if the order went out. After she came back to phone little after 5 mins and informed me that my order didn’t go out with the most recent route. Since it was dinner I decided to go pick it up. Upon arrival Amanda assisted me and informed me she made me a fresh “pizza”. The guy on the phone only put in 1 pizza despite confirming 2. Here at this moment the frustration really start to sink in. I asked Ms Amanda to just refund me and I would find something else for dinner. She asked for me to give her a chance to make it right as she did not want to have me leave frustrated. After this moment Ms Amanda most definitely exceeded me expectations with making it right and I want to make sure that despite all the wrong turns Ms Amanda needs to be recognized for customer interaction and solutions to customer...

I typically have no complaints with the service or the food at Hungry Howies but tonight was the total opposite. I called in my order for pick up, I ordered the deal, 2 medium pizzas with 2 topping for $5.99 each. I order BBQ chicken with no onion, and pepperoni and bacon for the second pizza.( I ordered the same pizzas on Friday, 3/29 and paid $14.96(give or take a few cents). The young man tells me my total is $19, I explain that I placed the same order on Friday and the total was $14 and change, we go back and forth about pricing and he tells me $18 and change, I then ask to speak with the manager and he says, she is on the phone . He never puts the manager on the line, I said well I do not want pay more than what I paid on Friday for the same exact order so I am going to cancel the order. The young man says well ma'am you do just that. So I will not be ordering from Hungry Howies again. If you advertise 2 medium/2 topping pizzas for $5.99 each plus tax, the total cost should not be more than $12.00 with tax, do the math. It is not rocket science and then the sarcasm, uncalled for and unprofessional,never once did I speak with sarcasm or raise my voice.
