I was there with my family on a Friday (6pm). We waited 40 minutes to be seated (when they said to wait 20 minutes). We didn't mind the wait though; but, then we had to wait another 40+ minutes for our food, after we ordered it. The waiter (Horacio) forgot to bring our appetizers. He have come to check on us before and never mentioned anything about the appetizers. When I reminded him of it (20+ minutes have passed) he said he was going to check on it; we probably waited another 10-15 minutes for it. We ordered some drinks, waters, and horchatas for a family of 2 adults, 3 teens and 1 child. The cheese dip was good. The guacamole wasn't the best. Something that really bothered me was that the Hawaiian fajitas I ordered were burnt and there is not way that they didn't notice it because as soon as the waiter put the plate on the table you could smell the burnt. I didn't want to say anything about it, but everyone on the table noticed it. When I told the waiter about it he said, "I'll speak with the manager." When he came back, he said, "I can offer you a free sopaipilla" which I refused because I wasn't gonna wait another 30 minutes for a sopaipilla and we were already leaving anyway. Another thing that didn't like is that the waiter went ahead and added the tip on the bill without consulting how much tip we wanted to leave. We weren't a big group, it was just a regular family. He didn't have to work extra for our food; tables and chairs didn't have to be moved to accomodate us. The waiter gave us a lame excuse about it saying, "I really don't like doing this (adding the tip) but I have to." Very disappointing. I wouldn't go back. The food wasn't that great. I've gone to other Mexican places where they have cheaper plates and the food is delicious. Unfortunately, this wasn't...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I recently had the pleasure of dining at this incredible Mexican restaurant for the first time, and the experience was great! From the moment we walked in, the inviting atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel right at home.
We couldn't resist starting with the salsa and queso, and it did not disappoint! I was thrilled to discover their great beer specials, which added a refreshing touch to our dining experience.
My girlfriend decided to try the LA FOGATA steak tacos, and she loved them. The steak was tender and the raw red onions and cilantro added a refreshing crunch. The real star, however, was the spicy homemade sauce, which really elevated the tacos.
As for me, I opted for the Choripollo dish, and it did not disappoint. The grilled chicken breast was juicy and perfectly cooked, and the addition of chorizo and cheese sauce created a mouthwatering combination of flavors. The side of rice, beans, and pico de gallo complemented the dish beautifully, making every bite a delightful symphony of tastes.
What impressed us the most, aside from the incredible food, was the attentive service. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, and she was happy to answer our questions and make recommendations.
In conclusion, our first visit to this Mexican restaurant was an absolute treat. The delectable salsa and queso, the mouthwatering steak tacos, and the flavorful Choripollo dish, combined with the welcoming ambiance and great beer specials, made it a truly memorable experience. We can't wait to return and explore more of their delightful offerings. If you're a fan of authentic Mexican cuisine and a warm dining atmosphere, this restaurant should be at the top...
Read moreI really enjoyed the food and service. The atmosphere was vibrant and has happy vibes. The music playing immediately made me smile, when I walked inside. We were greeted with bright eyes and a smile by a charming young lady who seated us.The service got even better my waiter was courteous and knowledgeable about the menu. He came by a few times to make sure we had everything we needed, like drinks and chips with salsa and cheese. For my main course, I had the tilapia. Tilapia wasn't the type fish I was expecting before I arrived. Only because I have tilapia very often at a home in South Florida. I was looking forward to a good Bass or a Snapper for my birthday meal. But the tilapia was the only WHOLE fish they served so I dared to try it. I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!!! The chef had fried that tilapia perfectly. The skin was crispy AND golden, and the meat was white and juicy on the inside of my tilapia. So I was glad I didn't change my plan to have A GREAT BIG FRIED FISH for my birthday meal. Because when I took a gander at the menu their are sooo maybe delicious options it was hard not to change up and try something new and adventurous. Overall I was definitely pleased with my meal and the host of people that made my birthday dinner a memorable delight. They even came over and sang a happy birthday song in Spanish. I got to wear a beautiful sombrero and took pictures. I did look silly but I felt happy and with a tummy full of tilapia, tasty rice and avocado salad. Fue una gran cena de cumpleanos!!! Estoy muy agradecido. I'll be back to try other dishes...
