AVOID PANERA! THEY NO LONGER MAKE ANYTHING FRESH IN STORE! IT'S ALL FROZEN, SHIPPED TO THEM & THEY HEAT IT UP!!!!! THE BREADS ARE BAKED FROM FROZEN! I was extremely disappointed to find out that the souffle's are no longer made fresh daily in house. I saw that they are made elsewhere & put into plastic & shipped there. To watch the counter person take it out of the plastic wrap, then microwave it for a bit, & then put it into the toaster oven was sheer disbelief, however I decided to keep an open mind. What a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT! Omg, the taste of the souffle's are absolutely GROSS now! The bacon that used to be a slice or 2 INSIDE the souffle with 1 on top, is no longer & it is now just bacon bits (if that's how ppl can describe them) sprinkled on top & they have the consistency of BEEF JERKY- AKA TOUGH & ZERO flavor! The dough was NOT like days of old. It used to be fresh, soft, slightly crispy, light & fluffy with a great taste from all the ingredients being baked while inside the souffle. Now I can tell it's made with FROZEN dough, & baked elsewhere, heated in a microwave, & then lightly toasted. I'm 59 years old, I KNOW/grew up with/can tell the difference between fresh & frozen. So I tried the Asiago Bagel. Another HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! ICK! Is how I can describe it! It USED to be the light color of bread, with Asiago cheese all over the top, & the bottom had a hole in it & I could taste the yummy cheese all through out the entire bagel. It was chewy with a slight crisp on the outside & soft & fluffy on the inside. Now, they're the color of pretzel bread, almost half the size they were before with very little Asiago cheese plopped on top, & the dough is absolutely tasteless with zero smell. I can only describe the texture & taste as I know I'm eating something that was frozen & baked, but if I was given this to eat with a blind fold on, I wouldn't be able to tell what it is! To know that Panera is no longer making their items with fresh ingredients every single day in the back of each of their stores but yet has not lowered the prices at all, is pathetic! You can no longer boast about "fresh" anything!! I was thinking that I'd give my other favorite item, the bacon turkey bravo sandwich, a chance with another visit, but then I did some research and found out that you're using FROZEN bread in all your products. I work extremely hard for my money & I will no longer be coming back to Panera Bread. I'll be checking out Einstein's. They still bake everything in store and use fresh ingredients not to mention right there in their stores throughout the day, like you USED to...

Rapid-To-Go ordering is not so rapid. Ordered two simple items that showed available at 12:03. Panera App showed pick up by 12:10. 12:18 rolls around and someone comes from behind the counter (after joking and making coffees for people that were not even in line to order after I got there and waited for my already placed to go order), shows me my ticket and says they don't have the bagel and their coffee machine is broken (PS- just watched you make coffee). Needless to say my 91 year old grandfather has been sitting in the car now for approximately 10 minutes now. I ask nicely for a cancellation and refund because my grandfather is in the car and I need to get him home. The person from behind the counter gets the "manager" (whom walked 10 laps around me in the time I was standing there waiting for my non-existent order) and asks to do my refund. Instead of doing my refund, the "manager" picks up one of the iced tea vats and goes behind the counter. At that point after waiting almost 20 minutes for invisible food, I gave up. Please, keep my money it's clearly not worth it to you. You weren't even that busy.
Honestly, if it's that unimportant to take care of your customers, don't make promises you can't deliver on, and try actually doing what you're supposed to do, which is contact the customer when you can't fulfill the order- well that's what Panera Corporate told me, but don't worry, I'll go somewhere that will actually like to serve food and get paid for it.
If I treated my customers that poorly, I wouldn't have...
