Carrabas is one of my favorite restaurants, so when I moved here I was excited to be able to still go. I've ordered to go twice now and I've been so very disappointed each time. The first time I went in and picked up, the two hosts were standing there with the female speaking to a customer and the male staring off looking like he hated his life. I say hello and he ignores me. I find the pickup shelf and grab my food, say thank you and no response. I get home and the food looked okay, seemed like everything was in there. Now, I only live a couple of minutes away so I got there a few minutes after my "it's done" text and then left immediately. So, I was extremely disappointed that my food was cold. I had to put everything in the microwave. And, the pasta with the steak was 98% pasta and 2% meat. The Tupperware takeout container was filled to the brim with the noodles and that was really the majority of my dish. The steak we ordered was good, the asparagus with it was skimpy and we had originally thought that there was an empty container.

I decided to try again a few weeks later. It was worse. I did the curbside, I got there at the time of expected readiness - however I ended up waiting a lot longer. Eventually I called in and they immediately brought out my food. This time it was worse. My chicken parmesan - the chicken was burnt. I ordered the brussel sprouts, but instead they gave me overcooked mushy broccoli which I also had for another side. The rigatoni noodles were broken and looked like they had scrapped the bottom of the bowl and they barely had any sauce - what sauce they did have was dry. I assume they gave me the last bit of what was left. The bottom layer of the tiramisu was nasty - the espresso/coffee was so bitter that I couldn't finish it (sadly, because I always get the tiramisu).

TLDR: this place is really bad. I only have it 2 because it hasn't been egregious (i.e. Hairs, raw meat, etc.). I can't imagine this would be the standard for Carrabas and it makes me really sad that I can't enjoy it. I will have to find the next closest one or just go to Olive garden down the street - that's been my resolve thus far.

Overall, I don't think I'd be open to spending $70 a third time. I felt like I wasted...

Worse service I ever had! Our waiter was extremely discriminatory towards us and made it very clear. We waited for long for our food to arrive, didn't get all of our food until two other tables after us got theirs first. They messed my ordered (food allergy) but I just removed the goat cheese off my meal because I didn't want to wait any longer. We asked for multiple things from other waiters and noone ever came back with what we needed. I asked to speak to the manager and she apologized got us what we needed and said she would check on our table as well going forward (she never came back). Our waiter then got mad and was even more ruder after the fact. I asked to speak back up to the manager and they sent someone different. I re-explained the situation and he gave is 20% discount and said he would speak to our waiter. I specifically explained that giving us a discount doesn't fix the situation but we would've expected that after the first strike the situation would take a turn for the best and only got worse. In the mean time, we hear our waiter laughing with other people at the table next to ours with people of the same race, while he didn't smile once while taking our order. I do hope and wish that the owner can see the video recording since there was a camera right above us. Now a days isn't the time to continue to make the difference. There is a lot of diversity in this world to be so close minded and unkind towards eachother. I didn't ask for him to like us but simply provide the same customer service we saw he was capable of providing to others. That's all. We're a paying table....

I’ve had the pleasure of being served several times by an outstanding waitress/bartender Sam at Carabbas. Each time we walk in, her warm and welcoming demeanor set the tone for a fantastic dining experience.

What always stands out is her impeccable attention to detail. She not only takes our orders with a genuine smile but also offers insightful recommendations from the menu, showcasing her deep knowledge of the cuisine and drinks. Her timing is always impeccable; our drinks are never empty, and our dishes arrive promptly.

Beyond her professional competence, her friendly and engaging personality always makes our evening memorable. She makes us feel like valued guests rather than just customers, she engages in pleasant conversation and ensures our needs are met throughout our meals.

Her mastery of mixology is evident in the perfectly crafted cocktails she prepares. Each sip is a delight, and she will take the time to explain the ingredients and flavors, which never fails to enhance our overall experience.

In addition to her exceptional skills, her teamwork with the kitchen staff is commendable each time. Our food arrives hot and beautifully plated, thanks to her coordination.

Overall, every one of our dining experiences at Carabbas is elevated by the presence of Sam. Her professionalism, warmth, and expertise are a true asset to the establishment. I always look forward to returning for another memorable dining experience, largely thanks to her...

My mother and I came for dinner. So far tonight, we were satisfied until our salads came out. They were not described on the menu. My mother and I don't really like cream style dressings, and our salads were coated in one. We ordered the Lasagne and Spaghetti Bolognese. The Lasagne is a little burnt on the edge but good otherwise. The spaghetti was not exactly on par tonight. The only thing different about the spaghetti was the noodles used in the dish, and the entire dish tasted like dirty dish water. The zucchini fritte was amazing, and the mozzarella marinara was yummy while it was hot. Then the marinated oil for the fresh bread had too much salt and pepper in it. The crostada that they have this fall is pretty good. Oh and they use cheap tactics to get you to order appetizers unless you realize there is fine print next to the half price appetizer ad in their drink menu. The waitress was fine however needless to say, my mother and I will not be eating here again anytime in the near future.

So I haven’t been to one of these in years as they don’t exist by where I live anymore. We went here. The place was empty which I was kind of surprised considering that there was just elementary school graduations. The lights over the table were out that made it feel very dark. Then I made the mistake of looking up and seeing the dirty ceiling tiles because I’m trying to figure out why I cannot see the menu. So we order the food and we were in a group 3 steak dishes were ordered two came out correct the third one we sent back twice as it kept coming out cooked wrong. The waitress was amazing very attentive to the table. I personally had the rigatoni and added the sausage to it. I expected the sausage to come out sliced or whole in the rigatoni, not mashed up. The pasta was not cooked correctly overall it’s not a restaurant that I would ever go back to. They need to do a better job cleaning up the restaurant to make it presentable. Maybe this is why the restaurant was dead.
