Chickie's & Pete's — Restaurant in Ocean City

On our vacation to OC NJ while on the board walk my family and I came across Chickie's and Pete's Famous Crab Fries and just had to try them. Needless to say I can see why they are famous and we weren't disappointed, between the 4 of us we cleared a whole bucket. The kids and the wife loved the cheese sauce and once we ran out refused to finish the bucket until I went and got more. My son and I also had the boneless wings and I don't know what the deal with those things were but my son who usually complains about foods that are to spicy cleared them out with no problem when I couldn't eat anymore. Let me just tell you...WE LOVE THIS PLACE (My son Julius and I) ....obviously who does not love Chickie's and Pete's food...lol...but the customer service is way over and beyond! Bill the manager is fantastic...along with his whole staff...We use the doordash option bc we live in OC and don't want to fight the crowds and parking-especially in the summer. Doordash is a great option to get this fabulous food-quick, hot and fresh! We always order the crab fries, chickie's cutlet original with honey mustard and the fried shrimp. This one was on the WWood boardwalk. Heard of them a lot sure. Only got fries because the kids wanted them. But I know food, prep, traveled a lot, seen a lot, eat at a lot of places. To be honest, was not impressed at all. Maybe I missed something others like about it. For me, oil smelled tired if you get that. They are harder to find these days but Quality Mom & Pop places With Crowds, lines etc. That is what I look for. Very Very few chain places do I buy from, Chick Fillet is one of the few I will go to because they have such hard core standards for their ingredients, cooking standards, service. I guess if your into the CP thing go for it. I won't be a repeat...
