Great looking slice isn't it? Hot! Fresh! Loaded with pepperoni! Yeah, it's from Manco and Manco's!! Now, you may ask, why would this reviewer post a picture of another competition's pizza on a Preps review page?
The reason is because I threw the 2 pizza slices i bought from them away! My son's like Preps so my wife and I bought 2 slices for them. One was buffalo chicken, the other was pepperoni. They gave me the slices in a BAG! That was very strange. When I looked at the slices, the pepperoni slice had literally 1 and a half slices of pepperoni on it! I was incredulous! I walked back over to Preps and told the girl about the slice. She asked what I'd like her to do about it. I explained that I'd like a slice with some pepperoni on it. She said, "I can add a couple more slices and reheat it." I asked for a fresh slice. She informed me that they were unable to give me a free slice of pizza. I stated that I'd just like what I paid for and they could have the original slice back.
She rolled her eyes and grabbed another slice and added two slices to the almost bare slice and slid it into the oven. They took the original slice back and then PUT IT BACK IN THE DISPLAY CASE TO SELL AGAIN!!! Absolutely insane! They gave me the new slice. I took both slices and threw them away! Nasty attitudes and positivity disgusting that they would resell a returned slice.
I happen to know that the owner of Preps owns several businesses on the boardwalk. I hope he sees this and takes heed. I'll never go there again. They are going to make someone sick! Ladies and gentlemen, without question, Manco and Manco's...
Read moreMy family and I ate here one evening when we were on our recent vacation. We decided on eating here because it was slightly cheaper than the other pizza restaurants that we normally frequent, and we were starving because we hadn't eaten all day. This is the reason why I don't actually have a picture of the pizza because we ate it. However, I will describe it because it's not that it was unedable. We ordered a large pizza with extra cheese and pepperoni on half. When it came, it looked kinda soupy, mainly because it had much sauce on it, and when we said something, the waitress told us to let it cool for a minute before we ate it. Then, when we did eat it half the cheese and toppings, what little there were anyway fell off, but I would at least give it to them it was still pizza. Dough, sauce, cheese, kinda hard to screw up to bad. My wife, bless her heart, decided to complain, to see if we could at least get the extra toppings or lack there of taken off the bill, but when the manager got there to hear my wife out she was very rude and argued with her, reiterating the fact that the waitress told us to wait to eat it, which I didn't appreciate and then also had to chime in myself with the fact that the waitress telling us to wait to eat the pizza wouldn't have mattered anyway because there was to much sauce and I ordered "pepperonis" not pepperoni. So, in the end, I don't think we'll be back. To be expensive, not that good and they are rude to...
Read morePreps was a pretty terrible experience. First of all, the pizza was far too expensive. The prices are insane and you're probably better off just getting a frozen pizza from the grocery store. It would taste better and be much cheaper. Second of all, the pizza was really bad. We got the plain pizza and the Buffalo chicken pizza. The pizza itself was subpar and the chicken on the Buffalo chicken pizza was absolutely terrible. It didn't taste good and was either old, not cooked enough, or just bad quality chicken. We also found a hair that didn't belong to anyone at the table on the plain pizza. We asked for the manager and she took a while to show up because instead of actually managing the place she was off riding a ride with her granddaughter. When she showed up she was both apologetic and defensive, but far more defensive. She just kept telling us the whole spiel about how people come in all the time saying they love the place, better than manco and manco's, fresh ingredients, girls wear hair in buns while guys wear hats, etc. As she was saying this though we could all see right in front of us that there was a guy flipping pizza dough that didn't have a hat on. Even then hats and braids don't prevent hair from falling out. We did get a $30 certificate and our meal was free, but I don't think we will be going back. Even discounting the bad customer service and high prices, the pizza is still pretty bad. Find somewhere better to get your pizza on...
