Munchy's Bites — Restaurant in Ocean City

Not run well at all. I just wanted some ice cream in a bubble waffle w toppings. There was no one at the window so I started using the machine that said order here. But I only had cash, so I asked a woman who said she'd be right with me. I then asked for vanilla ice cream in a bubble waffle with some caramel sauce. She said they couldn't put caramel sauce on. Apparently it's only for the snow ice, clearly the caramel bottle was there she could put some on. Makes 0 sense to not allow toppings that you LIST as available for snow ice but can't be put on regular ice cream? So I said fine I'll get the oreo one, which ends up being 16$ ! 16$ for ice cream in waffle w some oreos on top? Outrageous pricing. Whoever owns this place should hire more workers so I'm not standing for 10 min waiting for a human, train your workers to understand how toppings work, and make their Products reasonable prices. Overpriced with hidden fees. We purchased two items from Munchy’s during our OC stay. We bought the Dubai chocolate covered strawberries. We understand Dubai chocolate is pricey. This was a cup of strawberries with Dubai chocolate sauce and pistachio sauce for $20. The family enjoyed it. However, I believe this is an overpriced item. Worse was getting a bubble tea, advertised for $10. When ordering from the kiosk, the boba is listed as a “topping” for an additional $1.50 or $2.00 (can’t recall exactly). If you don’t order this “topping” you just pay for the “tea” which in our case was very artificial tasting strawberry water. Ok so was really excited to try a place in OCNJ with so many different treats. Got the ‘cookies and dream’ rolled ice cream and was THOROUGHLY dissatisfied. The ice cream was barely rolled, you could tell the poor girl didn’t go through training. It was genuinely the saddest rolled ice cream I’ve seen. My hubby got one as well and they simply just plopped a roll on top and hoped for the best. It tasted freezer burnt and watered down. My cousin got a hot dog, they literally ROLLED THEIR EYES AT HER when she simply asked for spicy mayo. However, she had only good things to say about the taste of the dog. Lol definitely an experience, maybe go for a lemonade or hot dog but NOT ICE CREAM!...
