We have been here several times over the past few years and have always had a great experience in the past. The fajitas used to be our favorite. We are in town again and thought we would go back for dinner and we were terribly disappointed. To start, the server wasn't wearing her mask when she came to our table and often had it pulled down throughout dinner, which made us and a neighboring table uncomfortable. She also didn't have a grasp on the menu and wasn't familiar with some of the drinks and food options. Unbelievably they took fajitas off of the menu, which took 3 separate servers to confirm that was the case. In response we were told they had new staff at the restaurant (whatever that means in relation to not having fajitas)... We ordered margaritas and thought they seemed sort of "watered down". Turns out the server actually thought for some unknown reason that my wife had ordered a "virgin" one, so no alcohol was added! When we asked the server about this she badgered my wife asking if she was sure she didn't order a virgin margarita and then asked if my wife wanted another one and then wanted my wife to confirm if she wanted it "for free"... For our food we got fish and shrimp tacos and were quite disappointed. The shrimp tacos just had about 3 shrimp each (2 tacos) and some sauce and the fish tacos had pretty small pieces of fish. We promptly got the check and went elsewhere to get more food and drinks, as there are many other great restaurants in the area. Definitely can't recommend this place any longer...
Read moreWent here with my partner and her sister for lunch and we left disappointed. Extremely underwhelming Mexican food. You can honestly get better from a chain like Chipotle. Read on for further review.
Items ordered: • Chips and pico (they were out of guac for appetizers...? How do you run out of guac at a Mexican place?) • Enchiladas bandito • Build your own Burrito bowl • Build your own Burrito • Jarritos Mandarin soda
Pros: • Chips were fresh and so was the pico • Vegetarian build your own Burrito was fine according to my partner's sister. The burrito was a larger size than the burrito bowl.
Cons: • Chips and pico cost $5, which is weird considering it's free at literally every other Mexican restaurant I've been to. • Enchiladas came out luke warm, extremely soggy, and void of any sort of flavor. The rice on the other hand, was soggy and over spiced. I asked for double rice and only received one portion. • Burrito bowl portion was tiny considering my partner paid $14 for it and they charged her $3 extra for 2oz of guac, which is crazy. My girlfriend stated the quality was worse than Chipotle. • The Jarritos soda cost $5 when you can literally to any Dollar Tree and get a liter of it for $1. • The prices are way too high for the quality of what is being served. • The services was very slow despite the few customers, but I must say it was friendly
Overall: I can't recommend this. There are definitely better options in the are with better prices...
Read moreBandito's Mexican Grill is an absolute gem for nacho lovers! I recently tried their nachos, and I must say, they are out-of-this-world amazing! The moment the plate arrived, I was blown away by the generous portion size and the enticing aroma that filled the air.
The nachos were perfectly layered with a mountain of crispy tortilla chips, smothered in gooey, melted cheese that had just the right amount of stretchiness. Toppings galore adorned this delicious masterpiece: juicy seasoned ground beef, tangy guacamole, zesty salsa, fresh diced tomatoes, and a dollop of sour cream. Each bite was a harmonious explosion of flavors and textures.
I loved how they balanced the toppings so that every chip had a delightful mix, ensuring that no bite was ever dull. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients truly set their nachos apart.
Moreover, the ambiance of Bandito's Mexican Grill added to the overall experience. The vibrant decor and friendly staff created a welcoming atmosphere, making my dining experience all the more enjoyable.
