AWFUL!! My husband and a I ordered a McDouble, a Big Mac, and 2 orders of fries. We drove to a local pond where we were going to watch the ducks and geese and planned on having a pleasant dinner. I unwrapped my McDouble and found a smashed sloppy mess... Ketchup oozing all over the sandwich. Our dinner destination at the pond was not far away so we turned around and went back to McDonald's and gave them a chance to make it right... By this time we were hungry we started to eat the fries and they were cold and tasted of rancid oil. They made me a new sandwich and handed it to us... I briefly looked at it and thought it might be okay(why would they make the same mistake twice)!? I also did not want to take any more time with it. We decided to stop in a parking space at the restaurant and check it again. I looked at the sandwich, but it did not really look much better! I took a bite and it tasted weird, like rancid ketchup and an overtoasted bun and the meat was lukewarm and dry🤢! My husband's Big Mac was not much better. This was not the first incident with this particular McDonald's. We live close by, and that is the last time we will ever eat at this location (Fremont Pike in Perrysburg, Ohio), and I would urge others not to either. It's really a shame how people take no pride in their job and still think it's okay to take a paycheck! We have contacted the owner of this restaurant before and we are not going to do it again. DONE! (However I will tell Him this incident occurred on Saturday 4/29/23 between approximately...
Read moreI'm not sure what was going on at the McDonalds on Fremont Pike. We've gone before and never had the issues we had while there tonight. Because the front counter wasn't staffed, we used the automated order machine. The service was quick. But all the tables were dirty, there were no napkins, the ice machines were both not working and then came the chaos in the actually lobby. There was a large group - mostly children - seated on a long bench seat with tables near the front of the lobby. Several of the children were running around, chasing each other and running into people. They ran into me and twice when I was trying to walk to get something to drink. During the rest of us sitting and eating the children kept running around, yelling, being told to do things and getting in everyone's ways. The two or three adults the children were with could not control them, and when other people complained, the staff didnt do anything about it. I did see someone from McDonalds speaking with them, but nothing was done. When we left they were still sitting there, the adults working on something at the tables bit the children still spread our everywhere. The four people at the table behind us left because one of the children hit the back of the chairs when he was running by and they almost ran into my stepdaughter when we went to leave. I understand they can't control everyone, but the chaos could have at least been managed by the staff. But they didnt seem to care. They were focused completely on...
Read moreMy brother and I were just there today to get a replacement order for bad food from about a month ago. We asked for a manager (Shawna) to discuss it and she interrupted my brother before finishing his sentence; he’d only said 6 words. She said that she couldn’t replace the food after 30 days and that she just got off the phone with her GM about it. As we drove off we said “have a good day” to which she said nothing and walked away before we finished our sentence. I don’t have a problem with not replacing the food; I do have a problem with how the situation was handled. 1. She interrupted my brother before he finished his FIRST sentence, 2. She lied to us in saying that she called her GM about it; she can’t have called when we’d only been there for one minute and gave no advance notice, 3. She was rude in general about the whole ordeal and carried a disrespectful tone the whole time. Someone needs to talk to this manager and either train her how to talk to people respectfully or replace her with someone who can. I’ve worked in customer service for over a decade and this is not how it’s done. And for the record: I placed a mobile order myself while we were there and when we were told the food couldn’t be replaced, my brother put in a second order for the food that couldn’t be replaced. We did not come for free food; we came for hospitality and respect with a side of fries. It’s not that difficult to be...
