Okay. I am going to give the most honest review that I can. I was so excited that Paris Baguette was opening in Oklahoma City. I lived in Korea for 4 years and it was by far my favorite bakery. I went in with an open mind and didn't pay too much attention to the reviews; however, I was sorely disappointed. Maybe my expectations were too high; I know what Paris baguette is really like. I have a few issues, but am hopeful that they can make a few changes and become the bakery they're capable of becoming. One of my issues is the fact that the pastries and sandwiches are left out too long. The two times I have gone in, the cheese on the sandwiches was curling up because it was hardened. I tried to get a croissant, but it was tough and crunchy on the outside instead of flaky and soft. A couple of the things have been really good, but I just don't feel like they should be leaving the food (sandwiches, etc.) out all day without wrapping it up in something. The ones that were in the cooler off to the right as you come in...they look the lot better. However, the ones up at the counter look awful. I really hope that it gets turned around a bit because the original PB is a high quality bakery. There just maybe some issues with the way it's being run or, I don't even know. As far as the staff, the two times that I have gone the staff wasn't necessarily very friendly. The girl picked up my croquette with her hand to go warm it up, granted, her hand was gloved but I watched her messing with other things before she picked up my croquette to toast. I was never acknowledged when I walked in the store the second time although the first time there was a lady handing out trays and tongs. She was very pleasant and very friendly; but then I got to the counter, and it was like the customer service disappeared. As I've said a couple times, I really think with the improved store management they'll be able to change some things around and make it a great place to go. Wishing...

We really like Tous Les Jour and Paris B in TX but this is straight up the most disappointing first experience at a sweet/desert restaurant in OkC metro…. The supervisor on duty finally came over to take our order while the main cashier is helping her customers with the app🙄.
Here’s the opening Supervisor: “Will you be paying cash or card” Us: Wait why the hostility🤔”There’s better way to ask that question”
After we got our order in, The supervisor went to grab our pastry(without gloves), she avoided eye contact the whole time so I asked for her name and all I got back was “I don’t want to share my name”🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
They must be busy coz the trash area is overflowing and the one side of the pastry rack r emptied. This location need better training and a new soft opening coz you r driving customers away with one operating cashier with 2 behind the counter staffers chatting away with back against customers and 4 groups waiting to be serviced…not even an acknowledgment. Com’on Paris B this is a flow SNAFU(Go take a page on a local Sodexo Cafeteria)
1 star pending if Paris representative reach out to address the very unbecoming behavior of the supervising employee. Oh don’t come back with a Gmail account, please direct me to your cooperate representative coz I’m not the first person to reflect such incident.

Read moreParis Baguette is officially open! I had never visited one of their locations before, but was thrilled to have another pastry store open in OKC. Upon entering, you see giant pastry cases heaped with all sorts of culinary delights. Grab a tray, some tongs, and help yourself. They have everything from classic French pastry items, to doughnuts, to salad and sandwiches. I ordered 5 items: a baguette, a plain croissant, chocolate ganache cake, mini raspberry tart, and chocolate supreme croissant. I was disappointed. They were good, but not great. I had issues with the texture of the items. When you bite into a croissant, you should have crispy, flaky, buttery layers. This one just squished. Same with the baguette. A real baguette should be steamed to perfection, so when you rip off a piece, there is an audible crackling sound. Again, just a squish. I found this to be true of all the items. The flavor was good, but the texture missed the mark. I can't help but wonder if it's the amount of food they keep in those enclosed pastry cases all day that makes everything too humid and moist. Perhaps if I went right at opening, it would be different. But for now, I will continue to get my croissants at Ganache (if you haven't been there, go now) and my chocolate ganache cake at...
