Slightly disappointed but not the worst. They had good reviews & since phillies are indeed my favorite of the sandwich variety, It was time to give their rendition a try. We ordered online, two different 6 inch sandwiches (the regular beef philly & the hickory) they ended up being nothing like the photos. There was so little cheese hidden on the bottom that I added my own only noticing the thin slice after I reheated it & saw it melted from under the meat - & speaking of meat.. so, SO dry, with LOTS of it. Which typically, more is good, but really, with how dry & bland this beef was & the lack of any other toppings (I paid 2 or 3 dollars more for mushrooms which were forgotten), it was just flavorless & tough to eat bread & beef. However, after adding my cheese & the side of mayo it morphed into a decent, albeit not quite worth 13 dollar sandwich. I also upgraded a side to onion rings which were actually pretty awesome & the default side is chips & salsa (chips were chips, salsa was “meh” - would not purchase as an appetizer or side) - overall, I was a little bummed after spending 30ish shmeckles for 2 smaller sandwiches, average tasting chips n (small) watery salsa, & side onion rings, (which honestly, saved the meal). I don’t like to judge a place after only one try so I’m sure in the future I’ll give the establishment another chance to redeem itself. I also don’t like leaving negative reviews (unless it’s absolutely deserved, then it’s my pleasure) however, I figure it’s worth mentioning in case the people in charge actually care enough to take stock of the things the consumers notice - people are paying more & more for less & less these days, I believe it’s only fair that customers should get at minimum what they are EXPECTING; the details of their order should be given importance especially when some some of those details cost extra. Until next time. (Sorry for the length...

Pennsylvania, none the less Philly, wouldn't claim these sandwiches! We tried a South Philly, and we created a "Build Your Own..." sandwich. On our custom sandwich we requested beef, provolone, extra onions and mushrooms.

The mushrooms on our custom sandwich were excellent. You could absolutely taste the mushrooms throughout the sandwich; same thing with the peppers on the South Philly.

The meat was extremely disappointing, as was the cheese, on both sandwiches. The meat did not have very much flavor, and it was very dry. There was hardly any cheese on either sandwich: the cheese sauce was literally a thin line down the middle of the South Philly. The provolone was hardly distinguishable on the custom sandwich, and there were only a pinch of onions. On the plus side, the onions were grilled. We discovered that upon opening the sandwich and digging for them. Sadly, I couldn't taste them to begin with. The bread on both sandwiches was cool not warmed nor toasted. That is "not good eats" on hardly any sandwich.

The waffle fries or warm and crunchy. However, they were nothing special. They were just like the fast food frozen waffle fries one could get just about anywhere.

The specialty lemonade tasted more like water with a bit of lemon, and the watermelon sweet tea tasted like water with a hint of watermelon. Peach was mostly indistinguishable in the peach green tea. Trust me; stick with the fountain sodas.

While my husband would be willing to give them a second try, there is no way I would spend another $25 on...

First timer and was very excited to try it out finally since I had heard so many good reviews but was sadly disappointed. I ordered the South Philly, it looked nothing like the menus picture. It had no mushrooms, no cheese and hardly any bell peppers or onions.

Update a year later…second timer because the manager was nice enough to try and redeem Texadelphia we decided to go there and use our free meal vouchers after winning a court case. Very nice try and the gal that took our order was very nice and good at what she did, just wish I could remember her name and the managers bc they do need props. No fault of theirs (it’s on the cook), but yet again I was disappointed as the meat tasted like it had been freezer burnt. It looked good, it was a good healthy portion and it smelled even better, so you can imagine my face after biting in to it. I was hopeful and took one more bite and ended up putting that bite into my napkin and we got up and left basically our entire meal and went somewhere else. Thanks for trying and too bad it...

Confused how this place has such high ratings. Went here for a quick dinner. I got a plain cheese steak which was a create your own. Somehow just meat and cheese ends up being more expensive than most any other item on the menu, asked if it could be toasted, apparently they don’t care, because I got nothing but a mediocre, low quality meal. Just a basic bun, no toasting, no nothing. Beef was ok but not that wonderful. No seasoning or anything. They used maybe two thin slices of mozzarella. They don’t have normal tea either. Bought a tea only to find they have exotic flavors, no sweet tea and only unsweetened tea that has a weird herbal taste. Really not happy with the 14 dollars I spent on something that’s in every way possible not satisfying. Will never go here again. I don’t even know why I’m giving 2 stars instead of one or none. Sub par at best. Got to do way better than this Texadelphia!!

Overall it was a good place to grab lunch with business associates. You had to order at the counter and they deliver to your table! We had a super friendly order taker, I didn't get her name but she was really nice. My group completed their order and then I ordered a 1/2 Chicken & 1/2 Beef plate of Nachos. I would definitely recommend those! My choice for lunch was a Regular South Philly - to be honest it lacked meat. In my opinion there was just not enough to satisfy my Philly craving. 3 of us had the South Philly, one chose a salad and the other had Chicken Nachos on Waffle Fries. Everyone was satisfied with lunch! I realize that this is no Tony Luke's or Pats King of Steaks but it's gotta have more meat! The bun was perfect and held up well! Restaurant was clean and everything was a self serve, drinks, sauces, etc. This is definitely worth a visit!
