Looking for a fantastic gem of locally-owned happiness? Look no further. The Study is wonderful. Fun decor, knowledgeable and hilarious staff, reasonable prices for the drinks and a steal of a deal for the entire experience. Not super into wine? Go anyway and ask for suggestions!
As far as COVID precautions go, The Study is top notch. There are air purifiers everywhere, all staff are meticulous with safety (I watched them sanitize my menu after picking it up, all staff were masked properly at all times, and all seating was spaced out), and they’ll enforce mask wearing for customers everywhere except while seated.
Though I haven’t experienced one personally, friends who have participated in their virtual tastings raved about the entire experience. Delicious, hilarious, and incredibly informative. If that sounds remotely interesting to or to gift to someone else - do it!

Read moreThis is one of the most unique places you could probably go to enjoy good company and a glass of wine, or some simple solitude in a cozy atmosphere. We were told by the waitress that it was either one vintage or another, without an offer to go verify until we asked her to do so. Then we asked the manager/owner why the vintages weren’t listed and he said it was too much work to put this key information on the list (which is electronic via WR code) because the supply changes all the time and because they are trying to thrive!?Then he doubled down and came back by the table to tell us that HE would only serve wines that HE liked, regardless of the vintage, so we should not worry. Not cool. For a wine bar trying to distinguish itself, the list should be more informative and the staff should be more friendly...
