I’m a vegetarian of 5 years, I visited this location on my break from work yesterday and ordered a quesadilla no meat. It took them the majority of my 30 minute break to prepare the order, they apologized for the wait but I was understanding because I know they use fresh food so I hurried back to work and began eating (usually I check my food but again was in a hurry). I noticed something off after eating a portion of the quesadilla and was so upset to find I unknowingly ate chicken. I immediately called the location and explained the issue, they recalled the order and said I could come in the next day for a refund. The attendant I spoke to said she had my name written down and gave no further instructions. I returned today for a refund and again the attendant recalled the order but immediately said I can’t help you because the manager isn’t here so you need to come back. I let him know I was on my break and specifically confirmed I could come today, he said he could call the manager. Once on the phone with the manager they asked for my receipt, I let them know I wasn’t told I needed to bring it in so I didn’t have it. They told me there was nothing they could do and they weren’t giving me cash which I didn’t even ask for so I left upset and two consecutive days I waste my break time at smoothie cafe. After returning back to work I found a sticker with the order ID so I called the location once again in hopes I could give them that information and get my refund, I called several times with no answer and then the last time I called the phone was off the hook. Read moreThis is hands down the worst Tropical Smoothie location in the city. Not only did the delivery driver completely ignore the instructions to hand me the order—choosing instead to dump it on the porch in 90-degree heat and vanish—but the store also failed to fulfill the order correctly, leaving out one of the smoothies entirely.
What’s even more infuriating is their complete disregard for basic customer service. Try calling the store? You’re greeted with a voicemail that flat-out tells you they don’t answer phones and directs you to drive to the store yourself to let them fix the order they should have gotten right in the first place.
I’m in a wheelchair. If I could have driven to the store, I would have. Instead, I trusted their process, and I was completely let down. Even worse, because I used their app, DoorDash won’t lift a finger to help, even though they handled the delivery. So I’m left with an incomplete order, no way to talk to a human, and no refund in sight.
This isn’t just a mistake. This is a reflection of a business that lacks accountability, professionalism, and any sense of pride in their work. It’s unacceptable, it’s careless, and it shows they simply don’t care about their customers.

Update: I did give this location another chance and unfortunately they did get my order wrong again. The server was very nice but refused to provide receipt, and this was around 8:30 so by the time I returned home to discover this was the wrong order, not able to return due to closure. I did call the store before close and there was no answer. I did provide feedback via a form that Tropical Smoothie had sent me and unfortunately yet to hear back. Sad I can’t return there any longer due to being treated that way. I can’t pay this much and be given the wrong order and no chance at a refund or response.
On a side note, I had ordered the quesadilla and there were all sorts of random things in it that didn’t appear to belong such as a black bean and pieces of chicken and rice when this was supposed to be a cheese only quesadilla. It had me doubting everything.
