BOOOO!!!!!! This was the worst customer service we have ever experienced. I have seen others speaking about their poor experiences here, and I am so glad I am not alone. We went about a month ago. Though the quality of the meat was great, the service completely ruined the food and our meal. Our waitress was constantly on her phone and never showed up when we needed her assistance despite there only being 3 tables in the entire building. We continued having small issues with our waitress over multiple things. Once our meat came out, that's when the issues really started. Our waitress started randomly coming over and adjusting the heat of our grill. Which was initially fine! But then she came and dumped two plates of our uncooked meat onto the grill, and turned the heat up. We asked her not to, but she said she was "helping". I understand if we went to a Korean BBQ place in Korea, this is common! Waitresses tend to assist the customers...but with manners. It was inconvenient, and uncomfortable. My mother had a gastric bypass surgery and is unable to eat so quickly and with large quantities. Since she dumped the meat on the grill, by the time she could eat it they were all either burnt or dry. Which happened quickly since she kept coming by and turning the heat of the grill back up after we asked her not to. We couldn't tend to the meat because we spent half that time arguing with her. We told her we preferred the lower heat and have been turning it down ourselves, so there was no need to undo our preferences. I asked her if we were running out of time (there is a 90 minute time limit...and I knew we had plenty of time still) and the lady made some excuse about the cook telling her to come and dump the meat on the grill for us?...I slightly understand the reasoning (probably getting stressed from the chef because the chef was at an age where there are more cultural pressures than younger, American raised generations) but why did she not stop when we told her "stop" and "no" the first time? And her attitude was dreadful. We couldn't even finish the meat since half of it was ruined because her actions. At the end of the meal when we went to pay, the man at the cashier noticed our moods and asked if everything was alright. We said "not really" and it seemed the lady whispered something to him in a language we do not understand and he laughed. The disrespect was baffling, I'm sure they were complaining about us the entire time. But if they had just left us alone and let us cook to our liking, they would have had less work to do and more time on their phones like they wanted! We should have asked for a manager right then, but as I've seen on the other reviews, he would have been just as bad I assume. I was truly ready to yell at them, cuss them out, anything really, but I was so exhausted by her attitude and the situation overall. I have never been so infuriated by an establishment in my life. If I could have this place closed down I would. I would NEVER recommend this restaurant, even for a...
Read moreKorean BBQ dining has been a staple in my family for 20 years. This is an experience i recommend to all who haven't tried it. However, I wouldn't rank this place in my top 5 Korean BBQ places that I've been to. Don't let my personal rating discourage you from trying this place. Lol. I'm going to be a bit harsh on this place, but with a non bias and honest opinion. The food and experience were good overall. The reason I can't say it was great is because it didn't "wow" me enough to justify paying $285 for a family of 5. Sure, it's all you can eat, but I can think of so many other restaurants where they serve high-quality food, not all you can eat, and still be filling and satisfied for a lower price. With that being said, it just feels that you're paying a high premium price for all you can eat rather than high-quality food. My rating is based on comparisons to other Korean places I've been to through the years. Again, the food was good overall, but in my opinion, these are some of the items that felt short for me. The signature and premium beef weren't of high quality. It was a tough cut. The original pork belly and baby octopus were okay, not great. I didn't get to try the smoke garlic pork belly, which I feel would've been a better choice. Now, my top 3 favorite items were both the regular beef short plate and especially the Galbi short ribs, awesome tenderness, and flavor. The garlic calamari was...
Read more🤩✨🥩 I still think of this meal as one of my favorites. I have lived in Dallas where there is ah-mazing Korean bbq, so it is quite special that there is a place like this in OKC. I really was like “wow, wow, wow” when I came here to eat with my husband and friends. Compared to other Korean bbq places, this restaurant is pretty clean in a very good way. Our server was great and very attentive. There is plenty of parking and we did make reservations as well because it can get busy on Friday and weekend evenings. Moving onto food though - for appetizers, we really like the Korean fried chicken, salad, tteokbokki, and the jap chae. We also ordered corn cheese as well. All the meats were seasoned well and the flavors just burst when paired with kimchi and the various side dishes they had. We really enjoyed the cucumber kimchi and kept ordering extra. Highly recommend getting the chadol, pork belly, beef bulgogi, and galbi. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything you choose. They also had a deal on soju so depending on how many you order, you can get a bottle for free. Overall, the vibes were great here and nothing beats having Korean bbq with loved ones. I highly recommend and I am excited there is some decent Korean bbq on the...
