if i could give it zero stars i would. the food was dry and flavorless just like the staffs' personalities. i ordered a filly, two fries, and two large drinks. the lady who rang up my order walked away after rudely handing me my receipt. she neglected to give me my cups and my fries. i waited about 3 minutes for someone to hear me when i asked for my fries and drinks. i finally got my drinks but was told id have to wait for fries. before i got my fries twenty minutes had passes and both my friend and i finished our sandwiches. i asked for my fries again and was told it would be another not so hot minute. once the fries were brought to our table one box was dropped onto the ground. the employee didnt even stop to pick them up until she saw we werent picking them up ourselves. she didnt say sorry then she walked away to get "new" fries. we are 100% positive she gave us the same floor fries, we know this because there was grease on the lid of the box an sc dust on the bottom. thoroughly disappointed. will not be returning...
Read moreCame in at 8:15pm on a Tuesday and were the only ones there. Food handling was extremely questionable..with one employee handling all the raw meat, vegetables, fridge doors, and mopping the floor without changing gloves, all just while we were standing in line. Including reaching into the raw vegetable bins with the same gloves he had on when he was mopping the back and came out to help us, and after opening the fridge with the same gloves to get the pork.
later on a different employee assembled our sandwiches off the grill and then accepted payments also without ever changing gloves.
So did we still eat it? Yes, though with more than a little fear. I was just hoping that the food being cooked on the grill would undo all the cross contamination (though it wasn't on the grill for too long).
Thankfully we are two weeks out now and we didn't get sick. Even though the food was good (though a little pricey) I can't see myself going back. It makes me sick to my stomach just...
Read moreI LOVE pepperjax and visit there often, but my interaction with some of their staff today was less than accommodating, and honestly quite rude. I called in looking to place a catering order and when I stated that, the person who answered the phone said "I am going to hand you over to my manager, but I can tell you right now we need at least 24 hours advance notice" I let him know that I had been to their website and was aware of this fact. I could hear the interaction between said person and his manager before the manager got on the phone, and I could already tell they were not interested in my business. Funny thing about the website, it's quite misleading, because it makes it sound as if the staff and store will work with you to help you place your order and further their business and revenue, when in fact, the mere idea of filling this catering order was such a burden that they told me the only way they would even be able to do it is if I picked it up...
