Tokyo Sushi has become our go-to spot, and for good reason – it's always worth it! The restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience that keeps us coming back. Here's why Tokyo Sushi has won our hearts:

Minimal Waiting Time: One of the standout features is the minimal wait time. Hardly ever do we find ourselves waiting, and even when we do, it's pleasantly short. The efficiency in service ensures that we spend more time enjoying our delicious meal than waiting around.

All-You-Can-Eat Delight: At around 25 bucks, Tokyo Sushi presents an unbeatable deal for all-you-can-eat sushi. This includes an impressive variety – from delectable rolls to fresh sashimi and flavorful nigiri. The inclusion of drinks, sides, and more makes the dining experience not only satisfying but also a fantastic value for money.

Impeccable Cleanliness: Cleanliness is a top priority at Tokyo Sushi. The restaurant consistently maintains a tidy and hygienic environment, contributing to the overall positive dining experience. This commitment to cleanliness adds an extra layer of comfort and enjoyment.

Sushi Triumphs Over Service: While the service may be a bit lackluster at times, the outstanding quality and variety of the sushi more than make up for it. The flavors and freshness of each bite leave a lasting impression, ensuring that we forgive any minor service hiccups.

Unbeatable Value: Tokyo Sushi has become our preferred choice for a simple reason – it's hard to justify spending 20 bucks for two rolls elsewhere when we can enjoy 4-5 rolls here for a similar price. The exceptional value for money keeps us loyal to this gem of a restaurant.

Our Favorite Dining Spot: Tokyo Sushi holds a special place in our hearts and stomachs. It has earned the title of our favorite restaurant, becoming a regular spot for my wife and me. The combination of affordability, variety, and taste makes it a standout choice.

Highly Recommended: In conclusion, Tokyo Sushi is highly recommended for sushi enthusiasts looking for a delightful dining experience without breaking the bank. The minimal wait times, all-you-can-eat offerings, cleanliness, and unbeatable value make it a must-try for anyone seeking a...

Had an overall good experience here. If I told you,"hey, there's this All You Can Eat Sushi place downtown" you'd likely invision something like this. Or it would be a step up, if you were expecting something like sushi buffet. It is not. They make it to order. So I'll give you the rundown if you feel like stuffing your face full of food. Oh, and don't try any funny stuff like secretly feeding your friend or taking extras home, or even overordering. Their warnings about these things are written literally everywhere. Lol

Food First off, it's not just all you can eat sushi. The whole menu is practically available. Soup, Curry, Hibachi, Ramen, Salads, Dessert. The sushi was good. Not 10/10, but for endless sushi it was great. Plenty of options between sashimi, nigiri, rolls, etc. Did a 5 star on food just because of the value.

Service It was very...there. The wait staff did their job adequately. Not friendly, not rude, just adequate. I was a bit disappointed that the Ramen I ordered came in a plastic bowl with a plastic spoon. With all the studies regarding micro-plastics, I'd REALLY avoid that dish in the future. Some don't care. I do. Oddly, they had buttons behind your seat so you could page the staff to order or for help. Kind of forward thinking, but also can indicate the staff doesn't check on you really. But she did check on me once without me getting her attention, so kudos for that.

Atmosphere Not bad, not achieving anything either though. Better than fast food, but felt like any chain restaurant. The best part of the atmosphere is the Omaha downtown. It's lovely and lively.

Overall I'd recommend it if you're looking to go all you can eat a step up from asian cuisine buffets. Probably worth the $25 because endless custom oder sushi/ramen/hibachi is just not a popular thing. It's a niche experience. You gotta try it...

You get what you pay for. It's hard to find good sushi in the Midwest but Tokyo delivers on a budget. We've been dining here for years (since their previous location before being in Old Market) and are happy customers.

I can still remember the first time we ever dined with them. We had driven a long ways only for my Boyfriend to realize mid meal he'd left his wallet at home. He had to drive all the way home and back (roughly an hour round trip). Rather than be snarky or annoyed they felt for him and asked if they could serve him an alcoholic beverage on the house. Given it was his first experience with sushi (which he liked) they've had him coming back ever since. We're very fond of this place.

I've seen in the comments a lot of people complaining about a surcharge for proteins. We've never been charged additional fees any of the multiple times we've dined here, but we also make sure to clean our plate.

If you're new to this style of buffet I have a solid suggestion! You're given multiple sheets to write your order down so that you can make multiple orders during your all you can eat experience. So make small orders. Only order what you think you can eat. If you're the type of person who's eyes are often bigger than your stomach, order less than you think you'll eat. If you're still hungry, simply order more. Take your time, enjoy the meal, and just push the lil button on the table if you need your server.

We've also ordered take-out through door dash a handful of times from Tokyo Sushi. Its just as good at home as it is in shop, though its hard to beat the...

This is a pretty good spot to get into in the old market, when the usual places are full. Good sushi, for a good price in one of the most popular places in the city. It seems to be a bit under the radar compared to the places in the area, but if you haven’t tried Tokyo yet, you’re missing out. We got a table of 4 in, with no wait, at prime dinner time on Berkshire weekend. The host/manager who sat us did a wonderful job explaining how everything worked, since none of us had ever considered all you can eat sushi. But for $25 a person? It’s at least worth a try, and it was. Sure, I don’t think it is really close to the best sushi I’ve ever had, but you simply cannot beat it in an all you can eat setting. Tokyos hand rolls also hold a special place in my heart; like really, how am I going to say no to normal sushi wrapped up into a big sea weed cone instead of a normal shaped roll? Everything else just feels boring now in comparison… One last thing, I ordered the spicy tuna pizza off of the rolls category(pictured), not knowing what to expect. You get a patty made of rice, which is fried, and topped with their spicy tuna mix and some sauce. It was a pleasant surprise, good flavor, with a style of cuisine I had never imagined possible. Regardless, I am craving it again as I lay in bed writing this.

If you're like me the phrase "all you can eat sushi" sounds terrifying. Sushi chefs train for years to become masters of their craft by slowly honing knife skills and decorating rolls with artistic flair. So for years I chuckled nervously and walked on by Tokyo Sushi. Every time I did though, I noticed the place was always full. Finally I decided to give it a shot and I'm glad I did. We went in between happy hour and dinner times. We had 3 menus placed in front of us. If you ordered off the happy hour menu, that was your "all you can eat menu" for the rest of the meal. If you ordered off the dinner menu that was your all you can eat menu for the duration of the meal and finally there was an ala carte menu for ordering fried rice or other one plate meals. We all ordered off the all you can eat sushi dinner menu and not a single person left hungry. We ordered 15 different rolls, soups, salads, mini appetizers and upon for about 25 bucks a person. The good news is...it all tasted great! Was it the best sushi I've ever had? No. Of course not. BUT...it was way better than some of the other places in town that charge 15-20$ per roll. If you're hankering for a LOT of sushi or are with a large group you really can't go wrong with Tokyo Sushi. Great place, nice people and good food.
