Del Taco — Restaurant in Orlando

Update 3/21/2019 - Having been to this location before I expected more. This was about the most disappointing visit I have ever had here. Our food was fine and tasted like you expect.

Our problems started when we ordered. I had a coupon in their app for a free taco that expired today but could not access their app because there was no wifi. When I explained this to the order taker they told me I might get service outside the restaurant. Not a lot of help since their register is inside and when I tried to access it inside it gave me an error message and kicked me out. According to her there was no manager in house. Not sure how that works. Plus the restaurant was filthy and the men's room was trashed.

I have had minor issues here before and there was always a manager present who took care of things. I filled out the satisfaction survey and let them know everything and now I wait to see if they do anything about it. Bottom line, be aware if you do go here. My food has always been consistent but dining in might be an issue now.

Fast food Mexican at its best. The food is good here and the service is usually pretty good too. They do have a bit of a turnover in staff but the manager I see is very good at taking care of things. We like the chorizo breakfast burritos and the variety of burritos on the regular menu is excellent. The fact that you can get great french fries to accompany your tacos and such makes it a major plus for me. They are much better than the competition but I wish there were more locations around us.

They are very good at keeping the restaurant clean. There is a good variety of sauces and the all you can drink soda makes drinks more interesting.

Once again a problem. How do you screw up an entire order? First there is the stupid helicopter next door. Went to the drive thru to keep it quick and they failed with only 2 vehicles in front of me. I said no jalepenos and they put add extra. Then I ordered 6 soft tacos that they verified and none in the bag. It's bad when it takes over 15 minutes to get your order right when they are not busy. Time to make...

AVOID THIS DEL TACO IF YOUR A FAN. BEWARE BAD BURGERS NOT TRUE DEL TACO BURGERS AND HALF THE TIME THEY ARE NOT AVAILABLE BECAUSE THE GRILL IS DOWN OR THEY RAN OUT IF BURGERS.

Del taco is also known for the double dell cheeseburgers. Warm fresh spongy buns hot burger and cheese with burger sauce n lettuce and stuff.... awesome burger ...

I came here every day for over a week to get my del taco fix since I grew up on it and get it every chance I can. I’m visiting from DC/Virginia (we don’t have them) so the grill was down a few days others they ran out of meat but every day the burgers had hard cold buns and they were hard and not what a double dell is!!! This was like a cafeteria burger.... dam kept hoping it was just that day but NOPE every day bad burgers and JUST ok food. Sigh grill was down always seems like they don’t want to make burgers the last few hours before closing. Anyway not worth it. I wish I could take back my days of coming here WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. Cold food and was not the same as other locations. What size is that double del bun??? .. the service?? Always seemed to get attitude also not sure why. Because we waited to get the burgers when the grill was back up? It’s what we came for! The person a the drive threw seemed like the manger but didn’t seem to like the burger ordering because we ordered 4 or more at a time not sure but always detected attitude and negative with everything said. Anyway had hot fresh awesome del taco frys but they were not enough

Anyway hopefully there’s a regional or a national Del taco manager who will see this and fix the problem at lest with the bad food.

Hundreds of dollars waisted....last day I’m going here.....I just got fed up and drive to STEAK N Shake because I can’t keep...

We go to this location frequently and have done so for several years. In more recent time, we have noticed a dramatic improvement in the quality of the food, service, and speed.

Del Taco is not a normal fast food place, everything is made to order. Thus, it is not quite as fast as some places, but you're paying for freshly made food. Despite this, this location still gets my food out just as quickly as most places do.

The management at this location is excellent and is proud to have you as their customer. They care very much about your experience and will do what they can to make things right, if something is not up to your expectations. That hasn't been an issue for us in a very long time, anyway.

One area for improvement would be the cleanliness of the seating area. There are times where it is hard to find a clean table, but this is an issue at most places in Orlando. There are also times where we will come in and everything is extremely clean, so it's not an extreme issue.

Ultimately, we come here for the food. For the price you cannot beat the qualify of the fresh food you will receive. We get their soft chicken tacos and 1/2 pound bean burritos and they always are excellent and filling. Given they do such a great job with their food, I highly recommend this place for anyone in the area looking for good cheap fast Mexican food.

UPDATE: We had a bad experience recently, but I returned to this store again and it appears that the experience was a fluke as the service we received in the return visit matched what I wrote above in my original review. They must have just been having a bad night. Since I was able to get exception service again after my return, I have restored my star rating back to "Loved it". Keep up the great...
