Your restaurant is a big disgrace!! Shame on you!!! You should treat everyone with common human decency!!! Horrible experience! Nasty people and nasty manager! My son has ASD and I asked for some kindness and compassion and not only didn’t I get that, we lost our appetite because the manager was so nasty to us telling us to get up from the table because she needs it while my son was eating his dinner. So disgusting!
So after your lame attempt at responding to my concern about how poorly the customer was treated, you forgot to mention in your response that you had no sympathy at all for a child with special needs I think the world should know that. Also, if you have cameras, you should check because the person who was standing at the door a different lady had told me that she had a table available for me so I didn’t think that there was anything wrong because she had come to me about the table. I figured you guys had some sympathy but I guess I was wrong. Clearly your response is still nasty. Which just proves my point that you will not even apologize for what you did. And yes, the customers were upset, but not because I had sat down to eat with my children who were starving it was because they witnessed your manager and the person dealing with the front door and table list basically humiliating me in front of the whole restaurant. That is what they witnessed your customers in your store. Even though there was a misunderstanding because I had ordered food, and then the lady at the front door, not knowing that gave me a table, but humiliate a customer in front of everybody that is just disgusting. You can’t even justify that and tell me that I behave bad because I jump the Q I paid for food just like everybody else. And the lady who is managing the front door did ask me if I was done because she needed the table I guess for someone who would pay for table service as if me paying for food take out wasn’t good enough Just horrible and...
Read moreWe were just there for yeshiva week, visiting from NJ/NY area. Overall the food ranged from good to excellent. Yes, the front manager is (sorry) typical Israeli - abrupt, not overly friendly, but if you have an issue w that then you have no experience with Israelis. Just the way some of them are.
On the positive side - we ate there 3 nights, one in and 2 take out. Obviously it was mobbed and service was about as good as it can be for yeshiva week. However, the owner was very responsive with the one problem. On 2nd night (take out), they forgot to give us one of the two bags and called 20 min later when we were just about 10 min from our hotel. Had to drive back, adding almost an hour, and we ended up eating cold food bc we couldn't use the hotel microwave. Also, even after second trip, we discovered at the room that 2 salads were still left out. Obviously they were overwhelmed, but on return the front manager was barely apologetic.
Next night's pick, up, we arrived and asked to speak with the owner. We very nicely explained what happened, and asked for some adjustment. He apologized sincerely, and credited us for both the missing salads and about another $35 off (he basically cut in half our check of $140).
Yes, in Orlando you have few options for kosher, and yes service isn't top notch and food is not all exceptional. If you want Prime Grill stay in NYC. Here the food is good to mostly excellent (and we know excellent kosher food), service is good enough given yeshiva week and mobbed. Most important, the owner did do the right thing when they made an understandable mistake. Overall, we give it...
Read moreFamily was here several years ago and we thought the experience was mediocre at best. We keep strictly kosher so options are often limited. We recently visited Orlando and tried again as there are not many other choices near by. Due to covid there was a long line to get in since the restaurant was not seating every table for safety. We debated leaving but are very glad we waited!!
We all decided on what we wanted while on line and once we got seated we immediately ordered to save on time.
To our amazement based on how busy they were and on typically less then great kosher dining service experienes we have had outside of big cities like NY and LA, the food was served really fast!!
The staff was pleasant despite being slammed. Most importantly the food was far better than anyone in the family remembers from our prior trip.
Not sure what changed since then, new chef, new management, new owner, plain good luck, but whatever the reason it was great.
My family and I will be very eager to dine again in the future, something I never imagined saying several years ago from our prior experience. I definitely recommend giving them another look.
Lastly I was amazed how good the Asian noodle dish was. First surprised it was on the otherwise mostly middle eastern menu and more importantly it was so good it beats out similar dishes I have had at Asian only kosher cuisine in general.
Hope your next visit to Kosher Grill will be...
