Panda Express — Restaurant in Orlando

Bugs in food! I found a larvae or worm in my super greens side! This was literally the first time I have ever tried their super greens. I (luckily) noticed a black-grey discoloration in my broccoli and inspected it. This was after I had consumed nearly my entire meal! It was in the leaves of the Broccoli partially partruding out. I have photos and the food in question still. I am currently moving and very busy and very worried I have consumed worms or larvae and may become sick. Google says this may be a wax moth larvae.

Upon calling the store I received the name of the on shift manager and informed them that whoever prepared this needs their foodsafe certification checked. Unacceptable.

Update: The manager I originally spoke to, Karen Ortega, was at the store when I went to get my refund. She was rude and processed my refund quickly.. one problem though.. she put the refund to a random credit card (probably hers) but I paid cash. She then spent nearly 20 minutes on the phone with her manager explaining how she "accidentally" charged the refund to a card but it was supposed to be cash. They go back and forth a hundred times and she hangs up, looks me straight in the face, and lies telling me her boss told her the transaction took place too long ago ( it was three days ago) to get a refund.. even though she already refunded it to someone else's card. Just crazy. I walked out with nothing but the Health Departments number...

I would prefer to come to any Panda Express instead of a Chinese buffet why u may ask!!!!???? For the fact it’s fresh and I know for a fact they would never put food from the day before!!! I’ve never been sick after eating here You never know what your eating at those buffets!!! Before I use to never again!!!! Very yummy here Kung pow Fried rice Honey walnut shrimp Yummy❤️😊😋

Update as of May 5 ,2019 What a shame as much as we come in here I’ve never seen such a mess and I literally waited 35 mins for my food in sane the manger Maria was talking and laughing with one of the other staffs while she noticed we was waiting like no joke this was a situation I’ve have never came across and especially at this location it’s like the didn’t even care!!!! It’s really sad 😞 to see a great place go down like this I mean if the manger would of put in her part then her workers maybe would work a lil harder as well!!!!! I’m still confused cause we come here all the time!!!! I mean talk later especially when you see the line is almost to the door and no food and in top of that like no “Sorry we are maybe a lil short handed or something but nothing” poor customer service!! I walked in the door at 9:05pm. I get that you close at 9:30pm. But usually when a place isnt closed, you should be able to order.

Well. When I ordered and item that they were out of and the woman at the front desk called out "add orange chicken" all the employees started freaking out and were verybvocal about how unpleased they were that they had to cook an item they were out of. I would have literally justvtaken something else but they were out of just about everything.

Then the cashier started going on about how I got there at 9:10pm and questioned me about how I can expect them to cook an item for me when I got there so late. I explained that I got there at 9:05 and they ignored me for 5 minutes because they were so concerned about cleaning up the back so they could close. And I also explained that I assumed I could order food since they were open and the closing time clearly states 9:30pm.

I just told them forget about the food and I went next door to Chipotle where I ordered without any issues.
