Just a heads up for any travelers.
My husband and I are on vacation in the surrounding area and decided to stop by this location because of the reviews. After ordering we pulled to the window and were instructed to swipe our card even though we have a chip. Then told to do it again and for the third time to instead insert our card, since it has a chip. The man at the window then turned away and talked to someone else in a low tone rather than problem-solving the card situation with the customers at the window (us). He then turned back and asked us if we had cash instead, confused my husband asked if something was wrong with the card machine. The guy said yea its been down all day.
What sense does that make? Why would you have just asked us to try the machine three times if it were down? (Obviously he didn't want to simply tell us that the card machine wouldn't read it.)
(We called the bank and they had no hold on that card for traveling and there were accurate funds available.) Instead of the guy telling us that the card didn't go through and asking if we had a different card or form of payment. He decided to lie and say the machine had been down all day and had to bring his manager over from helping someone else so that he could ask us. Then to make matters worse the drink is GROSS I know for sure it’s wrong and you can see it was sitting out for awhile temp is off and it’s entirely wrong! So I go to park and go inside at this point did them to fix it or give me my money back and they said to go through drive thru ummm I’m sorry but I’m not waiting another 20+ mins that’s ridiculous!
I attempted calling MULTIPLE times no one picks up and they don’t have a voicemail set up. How unprofessional is that considering the brand. NEVER AGAIN will I come back to that Starbucks I would rather go to the other side of town that when waiting that long they’re much friendlier and definitely if my drink was wrong they would have fixed it immediately not...
Read moreMy husband and I travel for work, and we’ve been in Orlando for about 2 weeks. Naturally we have come to this Starbucks almost every day for 2 weeks. Apparently they are out of coffee sleeves (no problem at all) but they’ve been doubling up on cups to compensate. Since doing that, our coffee leaks nonstop as the outer cup warps the inner one, causing the lid to not fit right.
My experience here is normally great! However today when I ordered my usual grande coffee with cream, I was handed a tall. When I told the cashier that I ordered a grande, he informed me that what I was holding was a grande. I told him it wasn’t, and he never even looked my way again. No response, no understanding of the honest mistake, no acknowledgement that I was speaking. I drove away as I had no other option because he wouldn’t speak to me.
