Zaman Hookah cafe and Lounge(by Lake Sandy) — Restaurant in Orlando

Came in with my family to eat and smoke hookah. Poor communication with my party and I regarding that although they let you order food they don’t prepare the food (they cater from a restaurant two doors down). They do not readily share this information and as we began to ask about our food having waited hours they would continually tell us they had to get the manager. Manager came over and kept giving us false assurances of ten more minutes and yet the food never came. The hookah, which Zaman does have control over, was lackluster. We were told they had higher end brands and yet the hookah was weak and had a bad taste. The first hookah came quickly, however, the second hookah we continually asked about and was told multiple times they forgot or it would be right in. When we got the second hookah it had a poor taste. Both hookahs were not well cleaned, when we went to clear out the harsh smoke we found the ball bearing in one of the hookah so grimy from not being cleaned you could not clear the base of the hookah. Both hookahs were taped together with tape rather than being replaced. It was overpriced and very unpleasant. The staff never checked on us even when we didn’t have any of our items forcing us to flag them down to even get updates on all of our very late items. I have worked in a hookah lounge and smoked in dozens of lounges and I have NEVER had such a poor experience with low quality service and disgraceful hookah. DO NOT COME HERE, Im sure any good reviews of this place are FAKE. I came here after a night out wanting to enjoy some hookah and this is what i got the HOOKAH IS TERRIBLE, its too overpriced for such a low quality. they HIDE 18% SERVICE CHARGE. which they failed to mention they had before we bought anything. the staff, especially a woman with curly black hair, i did not get her name, was extremely rude and seemed a little drunk ? and last but not least, the worst part of the night, the place didn’t seem clean with the furniture being so old and with burn Marks, gross in my opinion. But the worst was when i went to the bathroom, which was extremely dirty, that i saw a tail in the back of the toilet… i thought it was a lizard at first, you know it being florida and all, but when i looked back it was a RAT 🐀 the most disgusting thing I’ve seen at a hookah lounge! I’m sure that it’s even worst in the back where they make hookahs. Overall place was dirty, staff was rude, over priced and tasted awful....

This place is a joke. 5 Star prices but when it comes to service you get 0 Star service 😅 As soon as I walked in a young lady jump from a crowd of 8 people playing cards by the entrance with no greeting or a smile and asked me to go have a seat and she will bring the menu. Asked to get a regular hookah head instead of the rubber head and she responded that they don’t have regular heads only rubber is available to find later when I was cashing out one of the hookas in that same group that she was playing with have the head that I wanted. When the 2 hookas they charged $47 arrived they were mix of flavors and the charcoal died in a minute and end up smoking the carbon. The $11 tea came in cold and of course no mint and the funny part they brought something looks more like tequila shots than a tea glass :) The %18 ( $10.43 ) service charge was simply a donation because in 1:45 hr that we spent there nobody came out to the patio where we were sitting to check on us or get...
