Beach House of Gulf highlands — Restaurant in Panama City Beach

199 Kimberly Dr was not up to our expectations. Many items were either broken or not functioning properly. The place was not as clean as it should have been. I said to my wife we were renting and not buying. Had I known then what I know now. Thomas and Cindy are saying we are responsible for mold removal that was there when we arrived. The indoor activities throughout the entire resort were canceled because of mold. The resort is diligently dealing and correcting this. The OWNERS of 199 Kimberly are using our security deposit to pay for the repair. We are paying for an overdue repair that should be their responsibility. (a mini reno) We made the mistake of dealing directly with the owners to save some fees. They don't like negative reviews but they are true. I took pictures to support my statements.

Don't get me wrong. Our beef is with this unit and it's owners.

Delicious! My grilled cheese was better than I expected from a beachside cafe! The menu didn’t have a description so I was pleasantly surprised to find thick sliced bread with at least two kinds of cheese perfectly melted between the slices. I could tell it was cooked on a flattop grill because the bread was perfectly toasted and had that yummy buttery crispness! It was cut in half on the triangle, and the melted cheese was visible! A nice dusting of herbs and Parmesan cheese was a tasty bonus. It was served with a bag of kettle chips. All for just $8.00! My husband had the hotdog and it was definitely a big hit. Served with chips. Both of us ate for $20 including the tip! Owned by brothers, it’s the best beach food I’ve ever had! Support local businesses before chains! Give these guys a try! I rented a 1 br at 116G on Damon Circle from Jenny Blacon Blackwelder. I was also asked to leave by security saying I wasn't suppose to be there. I paid for one day through pay pal and the remaining in cash upon arrival. I got back the cash I paid but not the pay pal. She stood right in front of me and said she had already refund the money. She never did it. Security said she would have to refund all my money. I was told Jenny is a friend of the owner. The owner had also rented it out supposedly. The living room furniture was passed worn out. Thick dust everywhere. Couldn't hear the TV if the ac was on. Bedroom tv did not work. This was my only trip to the beach this year and it was awful. Because of it being Labor Day weekend there was no roo.s anywhere to stay. I drove back home at 2:30am. Not what excepted of this trip at all. Washer and dryer...
