The Liq — Restaurant in Panama City Beach

I went here on Friday night just walked in grabbed a bottle tipped the bartender 3 dollars for just grabbing a bottle and ringing it up to give me. I come back Saturday night the middle aged guy security with a long black beard told me it would be 10$ to enter (IF ITS A LIQIUR STORE WHY ARE YOU CHARGING TO GET IN???)just to get a bottle to walk back to my condo for my birthday that night…. I watched everyone else besides the one other random guy who didn’t bring a women with him get in for free.. I don’t see how whenever this random guy works he can just charge whoever to get into a place that isn’t his it’s bad for business… even people coming out was telling me they didn’t pay to get in I guess because I looked younger because I shaved he thought he could get a quick 10$ off me. Even the major celebrities bars on broadway in Nashville Tennessee you don’t pay to get in… And it’s 100x better quality than that tiny building. I door dashed beer costed me 10 more dollars to get my beer like I would of paid to get in but I’d rather pay someone to go pick up my beer than give some d”” head 10$...

I have enjoyed going here for years. This evening a man and his wife and dog were sitting at the end of the bar. I was leaving and had 2 liq cups I. Hand. The man approached me and put his hands on me and took the cups from me. He said the cups had to be purchased. I had watched the guy go behind the bar multiple times and get beers from the well. I don’t believe he works there because he told the bartender each time that he went behind the bar. The fact that he placed his hands on me is absolutely unacceptable. I will not be back and it’s a shame because the bartender and actual staff are amazing. I live I. Gulf highlands and have gone multiple days for years but apparently this guy didn’t want me taking a couple of plastic cups. I should have called the cops the second he put his hands on me. Why a business would let a guy do this as well as go behind the bar and get drinks...

My sister and I have come here for the past few years for a night out while on vacation. It’s usually our favorite place to go. This time though, there was a lady who was super weird, she was unzipping my sisters hoodie without asking and then got mad at us when we wouldn’t dance with her, and told my sister something about her going to sleep in her grave? We don’t know this person from a can of paint, it was so weird how she honed in on us and after we didn’t want to dance with her went around the bar talking to people and pointing at us.
