What a difference a cashier makes⊠If I could give this ZERO Stars I would!
Visited Mandalay Bay in July and ate crepes almost every morning at Cocolini. The cashier we had then was super friendly and attentive. The crepes were amazing!
This week we are at NY NY and we walked all the way over to Mandalay specifically for our crepes. We couldnât have been more DISAPPOINTED in the cashier whose name she said was Diane. She was nasty and very unprofessional. She gave my husband whipped cream and failed to put any on mine. I figured she forgot. I went up with my crepes to have her put some on mine and she was rude and condescending. I truly did not expect this kind of attitude! And then stated that with she finished the whipped cream when she put some on my husbands crepes and needed to make more and I was going to have to wait! I was fine with waiting a few minutes, however she then proceeded to take about 11 other customers while I stood there literally waiting over 10 minutes!!
While I waited another customer came up and ordered a coffee and he too noticed I was standing there and asked me if I had ordered and I told him I had been waiting for my whipped cream. He then told her to take care of me before his coffee, still she didnât do it! Terrible worker! My crepes were cold by the time she decided to make more. So unprofessional!We will never go back to this specific location again. She needs to be retrained in costumer service!! I will be sending management a copy of this review so hopefully she doesnât repeat her nasty behavior...

I wouldnât recommend coming here with any expectations. I visited on the evening of 10/17 with my kids and was treated well at that time, though the prices were on the high side. My kids didnât care much for their ice cream, but I enjoyed my affogato, it was good.
The next morning, however, was a completely different experience. I arrived a little early and waited patiently in the chairs outside, happy to do so. When they opened at 8:00 a.m., I expected a quick greeting or even a simple acknowledgment. Instead, I was met with attitude and watched as the staff began counting their drawer at 8:01 a.m., something that should be done before opening.
I completely understand that morning prep takes time, but a friendly âWeâll be right with youâ or even a smile would have made all the difference. Instead, there was no communication or courtesy whatsoever. After waiting until 8:10 with no sign of progress, I decided to leave.
I ended up at Starbucks, paid more, and still felt better about spending my money where customer service matters. Sadly, this visit left me feeling that this business just doesnât care about...
   Read moreThey charge you whatever they want!!! 3 small average gelatos and I got charged nonsense from a previous customer who didnât have enough money. Even though total was off by a few cents itâs not right to do this nor not let the customer know or have their receipt ! Also extra fees added. When I requested my receipt they dis not hand me I grabbed it since it was available. The guy kept rolling his eyes when confronted about charges. He had another worker tell me they didnât have management available to void the previous transaction because of her being out due to a family matter and that I should be glad I saved a few cents. Yikess it was never about the money if I can pay almost $7 x 3 for a small not so great gelato I can pay the difference of...
