Cupbop - Korean BBQ in a Cup — Restaurant in South Snyderville Basin

We live 2 minutes from the restaurant. We ordered a combo, some potstickers, and a tonkatsu Ramen soup. I went to pick up the meals. Two friendly girls were at the counter. There was only one couple sitting and eating at a table when I arrived--it was a Friday night at 6, yet it was dead. I was told the soup was being prepared to please wait. Meanwhile, one of the nice young ladies serves up the combo and the potstickers, and sets them on the counter while the Ramen is still cooking. The two items were sitting out with no heat lamp, so I'm assuming the soup is almost ready. The soup did not come out quickly. At this point I am the only order waiting. The soup comes out, the young lady puts it in the bag with the other items, then continues back to her conversation with her colleague and looking at her cell phone. I waited a minute...I was wondering is this not my order? I finally asked, is my order ready? She apologized and handed me the bag. Of course, the other items were cold and not tasty. The soup was hot, but the taste was just ok. I do not think I will return, sadly. I really wanted to...

I recommend trying tgis place as it is different. I only gave it 4 stars because it just was not for me. I like trying new things and this was something new and different. It was good, but just not my cup of tea.

The service was amazing. Smiles on their faces and friendly. Also knew the menu and was able to help with suggestions and spice level. The meat in my dish was good. Loved the rice noodles. Rice cooked right and my friend said her veggies were cooked just right, but like I said, the cup just wasn't my thing.

Atmosphere was also good. Fast service and I noticed others really enjoying what they were eating.

I did order ramen to go. It was good but I feel as I ate it the following day I can't do a fair review.

Side note: I was able to try kimchi for the first time. If you haven't you should. It was really great!!!

Really bad experience. Our party of six adults entered at 8:20. Received food at 8:50. No other customers. Employee didn't even speak to us. Shoved our food across counter such that it actually slid. No smile, no eye contact. We were well aware that closing time was 9:00 p.m., but had we received our food in a timely manner, we could have been gone by then. Employee acted like a petulant child slamming and banging things while cleaning up. Took nozzles off soda dispenser before closing. We had been to a hot soccer tournament and would have liked to have our drinks before our food came, as well as a refill for a couple of us. All of our food wasn't even as warm as room temperature.
