Went in with high hopes. First, It's crazy loud due to hard surfaces everywhere in a small crowded space (probably exceeds OSHA safety standards). Service is friendly but food is slow. We waited 15-20 minutes for our check. Hard wooden chairs and the noise do not make for a pleasant wait. Menu is limited (no kids menu but they can do simple pastas for them), food was on par with average Italian places you might find on any NYC street (I think a lot of effort is going in to make it homemade but all the pasta we ordered was either undercooked or very overcooked). Sauces were better than average. Wine list is surprisingly poor given they are sold out every night on tables. Basically a few $15 retail bottles sold for $35-40. Also most of the wine was California further limiting the quality you can get at that price point. They have a few beers in bottle. Be wary of an Italian place that uses balsamic vinegar on its caprese salad and has an item called "Tuscan Chili". You are probably not close to an authentic place. The gelato looks good and has a several people walking in to just grab some. Our kids liked it. They have a decent espresso machine, did not try any. Reservations are a must all year (for unknown reasons). Disabled friendly. Parking limited nearby but a short walk behind the state liquor store has plenty (a good place to grab a decent bottle of wine on the way over).

The muscles were incredible (the sauce was fantastic for dipping bread), the bread was served hot and it was amazing, our waitress Daisy was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Unfortunately they were out of a number of items, so make sure to call in advance if you want a particular item. I asked for a specific dish because it had the kind of noodles I wanted, but it was substituted without asking (because they ran out) for another kind of noodle that I would not have ordered. I feel this should’ve been communicated. Out of all the entrees our table ordered, the shrimp looked the best. The beef short rib special was not good, the veal was not good, but the chicken Parmesan was good. Overall would 100% come back again for the muscles and bread, but be more particular about what entrees to get.

The pasta, gelato, sauce and rolls are homemade and they did not disappoint!! The rolls with the olive oil and balsamic were so good but the mussels in the fra diavolo sauce were incredible!! There were so many mussels I should have made that my dinner, but we also got the chicken parm with a side of pasta and it was sooooo good!! The homemade sauce has a rustic old world style taste to it and we loved it. Our waitress, Daisy, greeted us with a big smile and was so pleasant! I wish we had saved room for the gelato but unfortunately we did not. I guess that means we’ll need to return the next time we are in town.

We live in PC! The food is super delicious, props to the kitchen.

Unfortunately, 3 times we've gone, the service was a mess and actually rude at times.

First time we went, the awkward front of house staff didn't seat us although we arrived at least an hour before the closing times marked on the door. It wasn't very busy so I guess they were trying to leave early but kind of strange to close the kitchen at 8pm.

We decided to give it another shot, and the second time was decent although very slow service but the food was excellent so we were happy.

The third time was more of a disaster. The guy was acting very very rushed and then quite standoffish and super intense for no reason. My mom had ordered one beer because he was late to our table and we didn't have water or anything. Then after he finally got to our table, he for some reason thought we were doing something wrong by her ordering a beer? She's 55 years old, I never ordered a beer but he was mad that I took a sip of hers so I had shown him my ID and he still was acting very off. It was just super unnecessary. We were pretty confused by it all and why he was acting rude, we still don't really know. It really lowered the mood of the dinner and got my mom upset when we were just trying to enjoy the night off and have some nice food.

Kitchen - 5/5 We love the menu!

Wait Staff - they definitely gotta find all new people, it's not working and may be the consistently worst service in PC! The kitchen deserves to have better wait staff 1/5

Environment is no problem - not great, not bad.

Basically, you may wanna just order take out, that's what we'll be doing...

I used to go here on occasion, having lived in PC for 30 years. My wife and I would definitely do a date night here, and the food was very good.... This is with the old owners, to which many of these older reviews may apply.

When we went there again after a break of a few years, it was now under new ownership and had expanded. Prices had gone up even more (28 dollars for lasagna???), and the food quality has gone down considerably. Nothing we had was particularly notable, and we were paying top end prices. Ghidotti's down the way is not what I would consider great, and barely OK at similar prices, but sadly is better Italian food then what they serve here now.

Then there is the service. Not very attentive. Also we booked a time for as soon as they were open way in advance so we were some of the first there. They seated us in this new back room right next to a 12 top they had setup for a group apparently showing up later. The entire front room was empty, but they did not warn of us this party showing up, so when our entrees showed up it was now too loud to even talk on our date night. Some special night out at high prices.... I mean we were the first ones in the place and they knew they had this party. I would have expected they wouldn't dump a couple literally right next to them that had advanced reservations.

So this place was at one time good, but now like many other Park City places has become expensive and mediocre at best..... We will not...

The experience and quality of the food was not worth the cost. A bad star and the environment ruined our experience.

When we arrived on time for our 6:45 diner reservations, we were informed that our table was not available and asked we wait at the bar. We waited over 40 minutes for a table to become available. During this time we saw two other parties (same size as ours) be sat and served. In addition there were other tables that were open.

Our waitress was pleasant, but couldn't effectively communicate. The room was noisy and it was difficult to have a conversation with the person across from me at the table. The decor appeared as if it was done by the staff. Uninspired paint, poorly maintained fixtures, and low quality seating.

The food was a bit hit and miss. We had the muscles which were excellent. My gnocchi was under cooked and gooey. My wife's dish was overly rich and difficult to have more than a few bites.

When our bill arrived we were disappointed to see that there was no attempt to compensate us for our time. The underqualified hostess gave us halfhearted acknowledgement that we had to wait, but there was no acknowledgement from our waitress or any manager regarding the inconvenience the caused. The final insult came with an additional credit card service fee charge on top of already over priced food and drinks.

We left an appropriate gratuity and will not...
