I don't believe I have ever given a 3-star review, but the only reason I am giving more than 2 is because the cooks were the best part of our experience. The cooks, in fact, might have been the only people worried about their job or responsibilities in the entire restaurant. The food came out all at once; everything was really delicious; looked great; and wasn't unreasonably large proportions. The other nice part to the experience was their legitimate tequila menu with great options: the Clase Azul was phenomenal. Beyond those nice factors, the main reason I'm even writing this is because during our annoying experience, our server was apparently training a new employee. I don't want to be mean towards anyone in the service industry, but not a single server I saw working today should have been qualified to train someone new. I will not use names because ultimately the person to be held responsible for our experience is whoever the on-shift manager was. Unfortunately, I can't tell you who that would be because they never made themselves present or known. My party did get sat fast and water was at our table right away, but everything else after that was asked for took work to receive. We asked 3 times for lemon to be told on the third time "we only have lime"; we had to ask for appetizer plates and extra napkins; we had to ask for water refills; and we only saw the server when they brought things out, they never checked back or did rounds to clear plates. If they had been busy, there would have been nothing to be upset about. But the most tables they had while we eat was 11 small tables all on the patio. The only people that were inside was the staff, very apparently not in visual range of their tables, talking gossip, and at one point 4 servers were actively sitting down rolling silverware together.. I have years of experience in this industry so you don't need to tell me about "side work." But I will tell you how many people need to be rolling silverware during slower operational hours: 1. On top of bad service and being slow, they were overstaffed (even with a trainee). I wanted to take this restaurant seriously as I'm a tequila drinker and a fan of finer dining, and on top of that it's at the top of Main Street Park City. But unfortunately, I'm actually disappointed in this establishment because it's obvious that the problems start from the top and trickle down into the staff. Hopefully this constructive criticism can help them fine tune their efforts, but I wouldn't want return here unless I was going to sit right down at the bar and drink tequila.
Edit: I wanted to clarify that every staff member was polite and friendly. The experience I'm detailing here is completely about how this establishment was operating during my first...

Read moreWhat a joke! The service here was awful! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! We didn't get any silverware for a very long time and never got real napkins. Our waiter never once checked in on us. Eventually we got silverware (after our food arrived and after asking 3 times & 3 different employees) but no napkins still (we were given cocktail napkins, but other tables clearly had real napkins and we asked twice for these) Our food came out very sporadically, and our drink order arrived well after our food. Our table's waters were attempted to be refilled once, but the server only refilled one glass when other glasses were clearly empty. When we were finally ready to leave, we received one check and asked to split it. At first it was only okay if we weren't doing cash, which we weren't. We were told to ask our waiter and when we asked him he said okay let me go see. When he came back we were told our check could not be split because they don't split for parties bigger than 6. We were never informed of this prior, nor was there any signage anywhere indicating this. We were only a party of 5 adults and 1 child, with only 4 checks; so also not bigger than 6, and when I told the waiter this he backtracked immediately. But somehow magically they don't split for parties of 6 still and he stuck to it. It was very apparent to us their refusal was out of laziness, as it would be absurd to not be able to split it to 4 checks. For the price and other options in Park City, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I'd only recommend here as a last resort, as the food was good, but basically average and nowhere near good enough to out-weigh the absolutely horrendous and petty service...
