A message for the red haired, female employee who secondarily served me this morning: I understand that you are treated like a robot by many customers every day. I was a barista before having kids—worked opening shift for the entire third trimester of my first pregnancy. I understand going into work and wanting to roll your eyes at every single customer the moment they walk in the door. I understand wanting to snap at customers who don’t immediately know what they want. Working customer service feels dehumanizing, and you are probably very jaded and bitter. I am sorry that you had to work this morning and that your morning was not what you would have preferred it to be. I mean that genuinely. Something that often helped me when working in customer service was to remember that, just as I was not a robot, my customers weren’t robots. This morning, I had been up with my 2-year-old since 4:30am and wasn’t having the morning that I wanted either. Your lack of patience with me, even after my apologies for being a bit slow with my order, left me feeling stupid and helpless. The way that you treat your customers impacts their day just as much as the way that they treat you impacts your day. I hope that, someday, you find a career that you enjoy. This will pass. Much...
Read moreI visited on 7/31. Received a over buttered big and toasty. I called the number on the website and it went to a voicemail. I left a message but no one called me back. I retrun today( the next day) only for me to first see the front cashier taking cash and he did not change his gloves in between transactions. When I made it to the register, I was told the manager had gone to the bank and he was the only one able to give me a refund. I was told I could wait 15 for him to return( at that time it was 11:20) or they could give me something else. Why would I get something else when I have seen you practice horrible hygiene practices during this pandemic era. I waited in the lobby 15 minutes. So at 11:35, I go back to the register and ask the young lady cashier now to ask first young lady that told me it would be 15 minutes to confirm how much longer so she then goes to the back and basically now I'm standing and customers are coming in line growing. So finally the managers comes in baby blue polo shirt see everyone in line and when he makes it to the back he comes back to see how he can help me. At this point I ask for a refund and he process the transaction. Not once did he apologize about the service, my wait time and he just hands me my...
Read moreHorrible drive through experience from top to bottom. Not only was the employee at the window not wearing a mask, he told me “Sorry, we are busy at the moment so we can’t fix for your order. If you want it fixed go around and get back in line and order again”. I ordered a cream cheese bagel and took a bite out of the bagel to have absolutely no cream cheese on it. While talking to the employee at the window, the employee yelled over his shoulder “I swear to God bruh I put so much cream cheese on that bagel” to then have the employee I am talking to laugh and say back to the other employee “Dude, I’m looking at it and I don’t see any cream cheese”. In the end, they handed me a small to-go package of frozen cream cheese and sent me on my way because “they were busy” with 1 other car in the drive through. Terrible...
