laughable location. Very familiar with the standard the food and service is supposed to be held at Rubio’s and I’ve contacted customer service 2 times about this issue that I’ve had. No contact back and it’s been nearly 3 weeks and I’m just out I guess of our (over)$20 worth of food that had wilted lettuce (no, it was not from heat I know the difference) rice was undercooked to the point it was not edible. Salmon in my bowl was frozen when it as cooked (yes, I can tell) I’ve had issues with this location before and when I went back in to get it fixed the staff up front and the lady who was on the line in the kitchen both had attitudes about it. No “sorry” no apology for mistake, So no, I didn’t want to go back for an entire order that was messed up because I really did not feel like dealing with their attitudes. I’m extremely nice about things given I’ve LITERALLY WORKED FOR RUBIOS before and get the mistakes that can happen. But not being contacted back for nearly an entire month for over $20 worth of food that we couldn’t eat. Go to another location, this one is not it. We also will never dine at any Rubio’s location again after this because according to customer service they’ve forwarded my complaints to area team leaders but I guess they just really do not care.

Read moreHowdy folks. So. Rubio's at Arrowhead (Peoria, AZ). I came in for National Fish Taco Day (99¢). I ordered the max - 4 tacos, a bowl of Chicken TORTILLA soup, and a regular drink. I will say first everything tasted great. I have never had the soup before, so gave it a shot. It was really fantastic, especially for being built by mostly "hands on" ingredients: chicken stock(?), grilled chicken, a big dose of pico de gallo, and a large portion of rice. Conspicuously missing? The tortilla strips. It's in the item name FFS. The tacos came out about 90 seconds before the soup. I took a couple bites of the taco, but it was barely warm? The soup was very hot, as it should be. By the time I had a few spoonfuls, all the tacos were cold (deep fried fish should be very hot). I suspect they were made well before the soup was ready so they likely sat in the window for at least a few minutes. But like I said, very tasty. There was one more service blooper. I knew I would not be able to finish all the tacos so I asked the cashier for a to-go box and a bag. They had a small rush, but right now there are only two other parties and we have all been served.. still no container. An employee has walked by me at least 8 times without asking how I was doing. I'll have to pony up to the front and ask again. Everything looked clean, they took care of empty tables, wiped down the salsa bar, and most importantly the bathroom was clean and stocked. Overall, a positive experience,...
Read moreGood food terrible staff. To the owners You want more information I'll put it here since your link you posted doesn't work. My wife and I came for lunch the guy at the register was more interested in turning around constantly to talk to the kitchen then listen to me. I ordered first for my wife then ordered for me, since the bill came to over 20.00 I didn't think about it, paid went outside and waited he brought mine but not my wife's. When I went in and asked he said no I only paid for 1 so I had to reorder her, I told the guy how he screwed this up as we were both standing there together and my wife even told him first what she wanted. This upset both my wife and I and ruined our lunch since we couldn't eat together..This location has steadily gone downhill over the last yr and now one of our favorite weekend lunch stops has become one of those we don't really want to...
