Naked Lunch — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Good: my sushi bowl was fine. Portions were generous.

Bad: it’s an escape room experience. First you wind through the whole store to find it in the far corner accessed through a narrow opening in an aisle. Then you go back into the store to pick up a cup of tap water from a special shelf. Then you go upstairs to sit in the loft, which could be nice except the counters are filthy and the napkin dispenser was empty even though there were very few customers.

Need to pee? Don’t lose your receipt! There’s a daily code on it. Oops, did you say no to a receipt?

Want to use the “guest wifi?” Sorry, there’s a password! Probably on the receipt you gave to the nice dad with three little kids who really needed to pee. Slowly it dawns on you that you need the rest room again…

I came in today for lunch & approached a worker appearing very lackadaisical scrolling on her phone. After putting her phone down, she quickly put on gloves saying nothing as if I was a ghost.

Not one word or welcoming dialogue, nor did she ask me what I wanted to order. I had to verbally say what I wanted, after placing my order she refused to tell me my total or ask me if I wanted a bag for my food & drink.

I have no idea who the manager or supervisor is but I will be in this weekend to find out, because I will not accept this type of service for $11 box of food. ABSOLUTELY NOT.

To the naked lunch supervisor/manager.. please fill work vacancies for like minded people to work around healthy & sustainable food. The worker acted nothing like what the company represents or stands...

Pros People were very friendly Place was clean Prices were good for vegan place Buffalo tacos where really good we all liked them and our kid doesn't generally like vegan Burger was good The bowl had quite a bit of food and if you didn't want an item you could sub for a different one no problem. Not full of a bunch of greasy, fried impossible meat vegan junk food.

Cons Could have a little more variety

It's a nice vegan place we all enjoyed our food. It was reasonably priced for vegan food. Vegan food a lot of the times seems to just be greasy, unhealthy or just impossible meat. This was fresh, flavorful and felt good after eating.

I would definitely go again for a good...
