Walking in you think, oh my God, this is not going to be a good time. I'll admit I thought that when I went in here 3 years ago. Kinda dark, floor is carpet which, in general, for bars, seems gross to me... Years of spilled drinks in it? Went back here a couple of weeks ago after the Indy half marathon as I live half a mile away. My brother his girlfriend and I didn't have the energy to really go anywhere else. I warned them that my last experience was not very good, but it was the closest option with the least amount of effort for some beers and food. ....Man, it's not often first impressions are as wrong as the impression I had of this place years ago. First off, yes, the place needs some work. But oh. my. God... the food... The traditional wings are the greatest traditional wings... Well, the best traditional wings I have ever had to put it simply. My roommate is more of a boneless guy and he likes their boneless better than Ale Emporium's hermanaki wings on the north east side (I respectfully disagree but they are a close second ;) ) The bartenders were great, food was hot, drinks were cold. There was a Transgender woman (man) dancing in a dress on one of the pool tables, with no undergarments on, and inadvertently exposing themselves in the process- until staff stopped them. Then, from the patio (as I smoked a cigarette), the transgender person was dancing again on the rear of a car. The gentleman that was with her most of the evening then sat reving his motorcycle for several minutes. Then, when he left.. he peeled out, trying to show off and crashed his motorcycle. Don't get me wrong. I was dying laughing at all this. Cause when do you ever see this kinda stuff go down at a bar? It was a night topper for me because my party decided to stop there after a concert (9/22). The weird thing was I was there with my daughter, her husband, and my wife. I dropped in from out of town since I was staying close by and looked for a place to have a drink. KT’s was pretty nice, nothing over the top, drinks were definitely of value since you’re not gonna pay much relative to how much alcohol you’re gonna get lol.
