McDonald's — Restaurant in Plainfield

I don’t frequent this location very often - and again today I was reminded why. The attitude of the employees I have encountered at this location has much to be desired. I went through the drive through today and ordered the quarter pounder meal. The order was read back incorrectly so when i confirmed with them what i ordered - the response was a Yeah...and they sounded like to say Yeah....was more difficult than if they had been outside digging a ditch in the 91 degree sun...when i stopped at the window to pay the young lady there was very pleasant....stop at the next window this young lady made it clear with her facial expression and her rather robotic style of talking that she would most likely have rather been getting a root canal then to be there handing food out the window. And to ask for a few packets of Ketchup...well let’s just say that took way to much effort to turn around and grab them...certainly appeared that was an unreasonable request. Food was good the new fresh cooked qtr. pounder is 10 times better than the old Luke warm bin burgers that used to be served. In all this location really needs to work on attitude - if they are not sure how to do that they should shut down one afternoon and go next door to the Chic Filet - and observe....observe the speed with which the drive thru moves, observe the engagement the employees have with the customers, observe how clean and tidy not only the grounds and building are but the employees as well, and if they are faking the pleasant smiles and attitudes they have mastered the craft...while I do believe they are genuine, after observing them go back and fake it till you make it because your store does not provide a welcoming experience for your...

I came here to buy some food, and the person that dealt with me on Sunday, May 5 of 2024 was so disrespectful calling me Mexican border hopper. Said this “I wish that you get deported & if you don’t get out I will kill you all.” And the manager that I talked to “Timothy” denied everything telling me to get off private property even though it’s public property I went to the line 4 times for some “LARGE” fries they kept on giving me small amount of fries, medium amount & complaining about how they work for us people . I was getting very frustrated and upset cause they kept calling me names cause of my race.

It’s amazing what this world comes too now. I’m living here since 2010 and I’ve never had an issue with anyone in Plainfield and I just go get a large fry and they’re talking about my race telling me to get out or they’ll kill me. I tried calling the police and they say that if you keep calling them, I will kill you so I left… be aware if you are any other color like myself that this place will judge you for who you are and it doesn’t matter if you say thank you or have a good day they always have an attitude. Good luck on this drive-through. I hope everyone makes it alive.

Worse encounter I’ve ever had at...

Just went through the drive through with a total of $8.37 at the window and was said outloud by the guy at the window. After paying and getting the receipt I realized they charged me $9.47. I drove back around and told them the problem, the rude guy that took the place of the other man then rang it il and said no I owed them more he said the guy in front of me paid for my meal at $8.37 and I paid for his at $9.47 but now mine is more. So not only did they confuse the orders made both customers pay the wrong amount demanded to see my bank account where I was charged but now demanded and I mean demanded the guy yelled out the window I need to pay more. I refused as they screwed up on numerous fronts and mine was paid for by the other customer and visa versa. Rude disrespectful and bad at their jobs. Not to mention the main rude guy is one of their managers. The only nice thing about the whole experience was the female manager she was understanding, said she would talk and retrain her crew and said everything was good with the pay, then the larger guy decided to yell again so I just pulled off.
