I am not one to give bad reviews, but this one is VERY necessary. A few days ago my boyfriend and I came to get a quick snack of frosty and fries. We arrived at a little after 8 and were told the frosty machine was in a cleaning cycle and they could not serve it. If that is a menu item, it should be available at all times of operation unless the machine is broken or are out of the product… despite that disappointment we came back tonight for the same snack only to be more let down. We were told they were completely out of fries. We decided that though it was a bummer we would go ahead to get get the frostys. But to our dismay were told they were not made. We were offered a refund, but this being the second time we have left empty handed. It is frustrating and seems that the management and those responsible for ordering product and making sure products are ready and available for customers during hours of operation need some guidance or more training. Read moreThis Wendys is awesome! The manager, Blake, goes above and beyond to make his customers happy. He went out of his way for us today. I called to see if they have salads because I can never find a Wendys that has salads in the evening. He explained that how they were made in the mornings and then only have a shelf life of about 4 hours, so by evening they are usually sold out. He said if we call and let him know we want one he would make fresh ones for us. My son drove to this Plainfield location and got two fresh salads that Blake made for him! Read moreWaited in drive thru for 20+ minutes at lunch today. They were taking one order, then waiting until that car pulled off before taking the next order. When I got to the window I let the manager know the line was wrapped around the building from their process of only doing one order at a time and normally it’s pretty quick at this location. He says that it was busy inside so they were doing that, he said “yeah we are normally pretty quick but today we are slow and it’s like that… sometimes we’re slow and sometimes we’re quick…that’s how it is you know.” I said no, he says yeah that’s how it is.
