I visited this location today. The drive thru was packed (nothing you can do about that) so I went inside to place my order. This all went swiftly until I waited 25 minutes on my one drink. Only two other ladies were inside waiting. The drive thru line had longed moved past where I would have been in line.I understand when they are busy it may take some time but the reason I am highly irritated is because my drink had been ready and sitting on the pickup counter for 20 minutes. There were about 12 other orders sitting there so I assumed they were orders placed on the app. The woman making all of them was just silently filling orders and setting them in this small section off to the side. Finally, the other 2 ladies that were inside waiting went to the pick up counter and started picking up all of the orders to look for their names on the stickers. Why in the world would the barista not be calling our names out?!?!?! This just blew my mind. Every location calls out your name. But even if announcing your name for pick up wasn't protocol why in the world would you want us to have to look thru and touch all of the orders sitting there during this pandemic!?! After the two ladies did this she went over to a cup that had long been there, picked it up and looked up at me and said my name. When I said are you serious my order has been sitting there the whole time? She sarcastically told me to have a great day. No apology was made. It was my fault I'm not a mind reader, I suppose. I may should have spoken up sooner but I know they are working as fast as they can and hate to be "that person". My point is... please have your employees call out the customers name when their order is ready. My visit would have been 5 stars if she had done so because the drink was lovely even though it was not quite hot from sitting...
Read moreIf a zero star review was possible, that is what this location would deserve. The lobby was closed for “safety” reasons this morning with no prior notification all while leaving their mobile order turned on. When I arrived 20 minutes after placing my order - the drive thru line was wrapped around the side street. I pulled into the parking lot and after walking up saw the sign on the front door. I attempted to call the store multiple times but their phone was going straight to a dial tone. Myself and other customers knocked on the door asking if we could have our orders that we could see sitting in the pick up area. A young man (who would not give his name - small build, dark hair) cracked the door to tell us to go get in line. We all tried to explain we did not have time to wait over an hour or the desire to pick up a coffee that had been sitting for 1.5 hours at the point we would finally be able to get it. He told us “he would work with us” before getting angry and very rudely yelling “it’s a rough day in here and I’m not dealing with this”, slamming the door in our face, and walking away. Some continued to knock, while others called their corporate office. Several employees attempted to come to the door but we could see the same man yelling at them to not open it. Not being able to pick up what you ordered in a timely manner is aggravating- but having to deal with employees that are overly unprofessional and rude is unacceptable for a business to tolerate within their organization. The line was so out of control that as I was leaving (without the order I paid for and employees who refused to cancel it or tell us how to) there was a cop sitting with his lights on directing...

I got there a little after 9AM and the store was low end busy (see pictures). Most orders were drive through and mobile. But when I got there to order a TALL “shot in the dark,” their coffee machine was broken and not making any coffee. So the cashier recommended an Americano ☕️. I agreed. However, I couldn’t believe I had to wait almost 30 minutes for espresso in hot water. She also forgot to move me to the drive through line?
Really Pooler Starbucks??? I said something to the tall barista but he got crabby and rude yet laughing and playing like it was a day at the club. Now instead of the junior manager addressing my impatience after 20 mins, she said, “you have several people in front of you; thanks for your patience!” She abruptly walked off. So it’s my fault the machine was broken? So I had to take the brunt of the foot traffic? If the machine was down, what was the back up plan?
I am truly a periodic Starbucks fan because of deep flavors from their dark roast; however, I would not recommend this coffee spot because of the amateur display of service (see Chick-fil-A all day). Ok, it was Black Friday but Starbucks is always busy. Luckily I wasn’t traveling until Saturday so I just dealt with the poor service and lack of condiments available. I hope the incident was isolated....
