The staff there was friendly enough at first when they were selling the coffee. Then they were friendly when I asked if I had to pay for ice to put in the coffee after I added cream and sugar to it and they said no. when they went to add the ice to the copy instead of holding the scoop near the cup as any reasonable person would he held it about 8 inches above the cup and dumped it in. Splashed all over my hand wrist and watch and then you just dropped the scoop back into the ice bucket and walked off when I reached over to the counter to wash the coffee off of me another barista yelled at me. I explained nicely first you tell me at least the other guy told me that there was no charge for the ice and he dumps it from 8 inches above my cup and bombs to coffee all over me and then just walks off without a care in the world. And now you want to know yell at me for washing the coffee off my hand and watch that that guy just splashed all over me deliberately as it were because anybody with half a brain would know you don't drop ice into a cup of coffee from 8 inches above the cup and expecting not to Splash. Then I told her again quietly and politely you don't have to worry about me reaching over your counter to wash my hands off after you Splash coffee on me anymore because I won't be coming back to the Starbucks ever again I wish her a good day again politely and with no sarcasm and as I walked out all three of the wrist is started yelling and cussing at me. I would never recommend Starbucks on North East Grand Avenue and Hoyt to anyone. It's the worst one I have ever been to. Actually I've never been to a bad Starbucks before this. What makes you experience even worse for me is that I was there with two Mormon missionaries who bought me the coffee and we're talkin to me. I don't know if they didn't like the back that I was using a walker or if they didn't like the fact that I was talking to Mormons but whatever their problem was that is not a...
Read moreThis location is completely unreliable and has unsanitary conditions. We came here last week as usual to order our drinks through the drive-thru. The barista who took our order by the window starts GAGGING as she’s making our drinks (the window was open), she’s looking down at the floor and the equipment while the other employee is mopping asking “Eww! gags again What is that?” The barista had my open drink in her hand while she goes to grab a filthy mop to clean whatever it is she was gagging about, without gloves. Three employees were there cleaning and huddled around about whatever gross thing that was on the equipment and floor. The same hand the barista used to make our drinks, was the same hands she was cleaning up and touching the dirty mop with. She didn’t wash her hands either. As she’s still gagging, she looks up at us through the open drive-thru window and saw us watching them because we were concerned and also disgusted, her face dropped into embarrassment. She stopped gagging and finished off our drinks, came to us and “apologized for that”. We didn’t drink those possibly contaminated drinks and will never be coming here again.
Another issue this location has unreliable store hours. We use to come here quite often (before that issue last week) and a couple days out the week they would be closed at the drive-thru during early afternoon hours, without reason. “Sorry for the inconvenience but we closed for today”, at 2pm. Workers will be inside as well. Not sure...
Read moreThis location is not consistent with their drink making. I went there three separate occasions, it’s a convenient location on my way to work. January 2nd, January 7th were the two times I got a Caramel Macchiato (no subs) and a cloud caramel macchiato and both times the milk curdled. Keep in mind I work and on my way back home this location is way too far to go back to, I called to let them know about this and was told to come in. Today February 1st was the third and last time I will be going here, I got a pink drink and the milk curdled on that too???? I called and was told to ask for Jeff (the manager?), I got there and was told he was gone for the day. I had gotten a pink drink yesterday at a different location and it was perfect. A blonde lady assisted me (annoyingly) and told me I couldn’t get the earlier drinks Refunded because I had no receipt or a cup to prove it ( I had pictures of the drinks), I asked her if she knew why the milk curdled she said she didn’t know. I asked another employee named Lex and she told me with special milk ( coconut, almond etc) that happens. I never asked for any type of milk with my mechiatto’s and I expressed that to Lex she told me it happens to all the milk, she expressed to me they do not serve spoilt milk. I have gone to the Starbucks on 82nd & Johnson Creek and I have never had an issue with them. Just this specific location I’ve had these problems with. Staff were not friendly or caring of the...
