The public house bar said they are open to anyone who wants to Freak Dance, erotic dancing welcome. Ladies beware if you dare to shake your hips to the best of the DJ with another person you will be publicly shamed and wrongfully accused , they will remind you to keep things PG-13 even though you have to be 21 and up to get in. Sensual dancing is not welcome here. It's the owner could be a good manager and business owner she would put up signs that say freak dancing not welcome here! My wife and I stopped in to have a beer and play some pool. The was not friendly, the beer was not cold, the bar tender wasn’t friendly. We were charged eleven dollars for two pints of draft beer, they were not cold enough to even finish them. The bar tender was sitting behind the bad texting. My comment as we put our half full pint glasses to the bar was “ if you’re going to charge that much for a beer, you should at least keep it cold. Absolutely no response from the bar tender or the man who we guessed was the owner as he was behind the bar when we came in. There were no other customers in the bar, poor service and we actually tipped the bartender two dollars foe the overpriced beer and poor service. I used to love coming to 1881, the music was actually good and you could dance all night. It had the perfect vibe with fun, popular hip-hop and dance songs. Now, all they seem to play is house music and Mexican music, and honestly, it sucks. If I wanted to listen to nonstop techno or house, I’d just go to a rave. It feels like they completely lost the fun, high-energy atmosphere they used to have.
