Frostys Bar & Family Pizza Big Man's Burrito Stand — Restaurant in Put-in-Bay Township

Did not have a good experience at all. While first waiting at the hostess stand, we listened to the two ladies discussing staff and other things for about 5-10 minutes before even being acknowledged. After ordering, someone in our group had a hair in their food. It was left at the table by the person we informed until the waitress came back. When the food was brought back out, it appeared to be the same egg as we had cut it in half and the egg that came back was cut in half. The waitress insisted it wasn't, and we took her word for it. When she brought our group receipts, she grabbed individuals attention by saying "hey" and handing the receipt to someone to pass down to others, instead of just handing it to them herself. As they took one persons plate, they reached across the plate of the individual still eating, the one that had the hair, and dipped their hair in her food for the second time. No comped meal or even discount was offered. It was as if we inconvenienced them by sending back the food that had hair in it. I’ll never go back here. My friend and I stopped in to have a drink, as we had been drinking all morning and the day before to celebrate her 25th bday. Her Id had just expired and instead of serving us like every other bar had.. .the bartender said no. Okay whatever, we let it go, then she proceeded to follow us to the back, tell all the bartenders my friend wasn’t of age..and not to serve her. Okay can you say miserable much? When I went up to get another drink, the girl took what felt like forever staring at my id as if I wasn’t legal?!? It was so unprofessional the way I was treated and when I paid over $6 for a Smirnoff and didn’t like it, they went out of their way to follow us to a corner and say she can’t have it because it’s “illegal” . Again I get it if she was under 21, I wouldn’t ever of argued that... but her Id has JUST expired from her JUST 25th birthday... let’s not harass people. We went to every bar that day and again had no issues, clearly they need to re-evaluate their employees mental status.. because harassment...

GREAT BREAKFAST SPOT!!! the only food spot we could locate (July 1) that was open on the island (Pasqualls brkfst spot seemed to always b closed and no sign). Frostys has a SMALL light up sign in front window saying Breakfast. Smaller menu but plenty of options (I had a huge croissant brkfast sand spouse had 3 XL blueberry pancakes they r huge!!!!!!). Nellie was our server sweet smile soft voice great service throughout. The gal who seated us I believe is the owner and she nvr stops, she is everywhere wow talk about hard worker and accommodating!!!! Coffee and tea very hot and juices tasty. Tables not close together which is nice in these small spots. Do want to point out if u r a Verizon customer u have spotty service around here but the lovely staff will help u quickly with the wifi code…. Just pay attention the firs time u r told they r busy busy here to keep repeating 😆. The place is a bit loud likely bc of the architecture of this beautiful building like the metal tiled ceiling. Highly recommend a breakfast...
