Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Rancho Cordova

I went in recently, was having a really tough day, was tired and “hangry” but even though I wasn’t feeling very good, Matilda was soooooooo kind and she lifted my spirits. I not only went home with a delicious pizza but I went home with a smile on my face. I absolutely love when people are kind, when they can do something nice to make a positive impact on others, when they are sincere with the way they treat a customer or people in general. To me, that is quality customer service. I wish I could call up her parents or family and say “amazing job at raising such a kindhearted and hardworking young woman!” And I totally would! Haha! I love service that leaves me feeling better than when I walked in. I have a pain and brain disease and I feel awful quite often, but I will always be kind to others-no matter how awful I may feel that day-and Matilda totally lifted my spirits and took my mind off of my pain for a little bit: I wish there were more “Matilda’s “ out there. Shes a keeper for sure! Please thank her, from the corporation. People don’t get enough recognition these days. Most of the surveys or news reports are all about negative or horrible things. I was really disappointed with my recent visit. I watched Jackie handle orders, open the front door when another guest forgot their bag of sauces, she ran it out to themand then start making my pizza—all without changing her gloves. That is disgusting and made me want to throw up. I had to ask her to please change them and use a fresh set of ingredients, which should’ve been standard food safety practice. My order was also 20 minutes late past the time I scheduled it to be ready online. On top of that, the looks I received from Jackie after politely addressing the issue made the experience even worse and made me feel wrong for asking her to be more sanitary with my food. 3/26/24- I went in to order the $7.99 medium pizza 🍕 Emily was on duty and was making a pizza. The minute I walked in she greeted me and went to the register to take my order.

I ordered light sauce, Italian sausage and pepperoni. She made it perfect! I don't like too much sauce and when I baked it I did not feel the sauce. I asked Emily if they had crushed peppers. She made me a small to go pack to enjoy on a few slices.

I was impressed with the customer service Emily offered. The other lady was leaving and was polite. I don't have a Papa Murphy's near my home. I am sure to return while I'm here.
