A solid boba spot but nothing overwhelming. I'm interested in revisiting specifically for the boba toast and another drink. I thoroughly enjoyed the boba, it's quite soft and chewy but could use some more flavor and sweetness. The texture is perfect but there wasn't too much flavor, I think most of the flavor in mine was from the brown sugar drink rather than the boba itself, but I can't quite say for sure.
My biggest complaint is that you can't really alter ice levels here, at least not on the ordering tablets. You can adjust sweetness which is perfect, but you can't adjust ice to account for something like travel where you want to deliver to a friend or storage where you want to save a drink for later. Without adjusting, your drink could very well be watered down.
I also have a personal complaint with the tablet ordering system because they have drinks that include "boba" in their name, but it's not completely explicit whether or not they come with the boba. I'd believe it, but I wanted to err on the side of caution and just added boba as a topping. The one employee working was making like 6 drinks close to closing hour (within 15 minutes or so) so I didn't wanna bug her with these questions (ice/boba). Attached is an image of the screen which notes "Boba Latte" but you also can add boba as a topping. I added boba to be safe and it's not like I got two servings or anything, just paid the 50 cents and I'm still not sure if it comes with boba. If it's less busy in a future visit, I'd definitely want to clarify. I honestly didn't even get that much boba, I had over half (12oz or so) of milk left when I finished all the boba drinking normally.
It's a cafe so there's more than just tea. There are some amazing dessert options too and that is next...
Read moreTried the cutest new spot today after lunch! I'm a sucker for aesthetic pictorial menus, and this place stole my heart! They also have a pretty advanced self-serve point of sale system that texts you a cute little cat when your order goes through! Their milk teas are lactose free which is a HUGE plus for my tummy. I tried their cheese boba toast which is super unique; the cheese in the sandwich is essentially the cheese creama that you find on top of drinks. Unfortunately, the boba fell out of the bottom of the sandwich, so I wish they had a better way of sealing the bread together. The taro and sweet potato drink was unique and smooth, but not for me. The ginger latte was extremely strong and packed a punch. Their original milk tea was, dare I say, one of the best I've ever had! The perfect consistency with a pleasing aftertaste that makes you want more. They have the biggest variety of toppings I've seen, ranging from the basics to the unique. And the cherry on top are their adorable little cups! Buy one get one 50% off drinks for a limited time,...
Read moreThis is a small Asian (I think Chinese but not sure) dessert /bubble /boba tea shop with dinner great milk/boba tea options. They also have these healthy milk bowls with oats, barley and boba, and they also offer these cheese toasts with boba or red bean or purple rice which are very unique and deliciously sweet especially when eaten warm. The place has many vegetarian options with some meat based offerings and some vegan options like oatmilk /soy milk /avocado smoothie. They also have slushies and ice cream and hot tea options. There is only one savory option on the menu , however that is not vegetarian/vegan. The dining experience is basic but cosy and effective, their service is quick, and they even have self service ordering kiosks. The place is small and only offers road side parking.
I give it 5 stars because of the unique items in the menu, value for money excellent taste and the humility and sincerity of the staff. Definitely worth a try if...
