I'm sharing my second visit (bad experience) So, the one who did my pedicure was a little healthy lady with beautiful eyes who was not good enough at her job. She started with cutting my nails and removing dead skins and giving a little massage on my cuffs and that's it. I was done. Was really not happy with the service and finally the owner asked me and I told her about the disappoinment. I must say, she really know how to handle her regular clients. She scrubbed my feet + she removed the leftover dead skins and I was really happy about it. Honestly I've never seen her doing anyone's pedicure but she did mine and I'm touched. Thank you.
First experience... I'm a person who generally don't apply nail polish. And I realised there is nothing much to do in manicure if there is no nail paint. So giving them a three start's because I'm not happy with the manicure. It was literally nothing. I'm sure if I would have done before and after pictures, there would be nothing to share. Because there is NO difference. But yea the person who did my manicure was really welcoming.
Although, the pedicure was amazing. It was done by a guy and his name is Pol. I can clearly see the difference. And I'm really happy. I wanted a massage to my feet and he gave me 10 minutes massage for 10 $ which is little expensive as compare to the time limit. But that's okay. The owner is not much interactive but sweet.
So I paid for mani and pedi in 35$ Plus 10$ for massage. (Just...
Read morePros: $25 basic manicure, you definitely get what you pay for. Close to the base as possible, good selection of colors, I was a walk in and was being worked on and finished in a very timely manner.
Cons: [TLDR: bubbling, no cuticle oil, back and forth filing, could do better on hand message] not con as much as it is not a perfect manicure, as it set I do have some bubbling on some of my nails as seen in one of the photos, additionally I did ask to have my nails filled in one direction as my nails are natural anecdotally using a back and forth motion does make them more prone to breaking. I may also suggest adding cuticle oil to clients nails after the service, thankfully I have some in my bag so I will be doing that after the photo. A longer hand message would be nice as I have had such experiences at the same price point in Seattle but that again is more a nitpick thing.
Neutral: I probably should have told the nail artist the the color also wasnât quite there but she suggested it and said the one she did is the most popular, which it is nice and I am willing to try something to, I am generally still happy with the color, the transparency of it is nice which not all pink polishes get right on. Another suggestion if time allows could be soaking the nails in water just to help with cuticle work, the cuticle work was fine to be fair but I find this...
Read moreThe best nail salon I've found on the Eastside. The prices are great, and they knock a few bucks off if you just get polish without the manicure. They're great with walk ins, if the salon is full I just walk over to Half Price Books and browse for half an hour, though I prefer to call ahead to schedule appointments with Bao.
Bao is very nice, quiet, gentle, and he does a perfect job; my manicures always last several weeks before I have to get a new one (only because of nail growth). I have sensitive hands, the lamp for gel polish hurts, I have no idea why. After I came in a couple times they knew to use a specific lamp that hurts less, the shape I like my nails filed, and that I have very sensitive cuticles. Nina is also very sweet, she always says hello and asks about my mother, who would get manicures with me years ago.
I really miss this place, and will be going back every time I'm in the Redmond area. I have never had a bad manicure from U.S. Nails, and the one time a nail broke off after a couple days they fixed it for free! They're probably cheaper than all the other salons in Redmond, which leaves you more cash to tip for the great service. Try them first and you won't have to shop...
