Worst dental experience ever with Dr. Heyri Yeom!

This is a bit large feedback but I really hope future patients read it and avoid seeing Dr. Heyri Yeom! Also please note: Overall experience for TruDental is not bad and this is very specific to a particular doctor.

I went to see Dr Yeom (Periodontist) for issues related to lower left tooth (Number 18 to be precise) in July 2021. She recommended deep cleaning of all teeth. I really insisted her not to go with that path (Since the issue was localized to a really specific area) but she said that its the only way to go ahead with the treatment. Also, it takes forever to get her appointment! and to one of the rescheduled appointments, she didn't even show up! (This went on for 2-2.5 months).

Upon completion of deep cleaning of all teeth of left side (including upper/lower/front), I started facing weird issues in my tongue (Not getting into details). I called trudental regarding those issues and Dr. Sara efficiently connected me to Dr. Yeom. Upon calling Dr. Yeom, she mentioned that these issues are normal and suggested me to wait for a week. When issue persisted after a week, I booked appointment with her and as usual I got appointment after 2 weeks! When I visited her, she just mentioned that she cant do anything about it in extreme rude way, asked her assistant to polish my teeth (usual process) and didn't even follow up! The whole experience was rude, disconnected, delayed and extremely inefficient. In addition to my original issue in tooth 18 (which is going on for last 3-4 months), I have a new issue related to tongue now (for last month) and I am going to other dentists and face pain specialists to fix that causing anxiety and hampering my work! (Tongue issue is really tricky to solve and hampers day to day a lot!)

I would have to say that Dr.Sara (general dentist) is friendly, empathetic and efficient but once she refers you to Dr.Yeom, god help you!

I really hope that future patients read this and avoid...

Exceptional and amazing are the two words to describe my experience at Trudental Redmond with Dr. Sara! 🙂🫠

The entire team of Trudental Redmond were very professional and nice to work with. I like the fact that the place is easily accessible, great parking space right outside the clinic and ofcourse a nice & quiet ambience inside the clinic.

Dr. Sara is genuinely a very patient, gentle, kind and knowledgeable Dr. who takes time to explain everything thoroughly before starting the procedure. Also, she's very upfront and clear about your out of pocket charges and is very understanding about making a plan that works best for you.

Going to a dentist had been a nightmare for me after a couple of bad experiences in the past. But Dr. Sara completely made me overcome that fear and I now look forward to being more comfortable with my dental appointments.

I almost couldn't feel her working on my tooth at all during my filling procedure. That's how gentle she was. I was actually shockingly surprised if that's even possible when someone is working on your tooth with your mouth wide open!! 😲 But, Dr. Sara did it!

I'm definitely getting my husband to go here right away!!

I've never written a google review in my life before, but this is my second review to Dr. Sara and her team who clearly deserves 5 stars! My tooth was broken and Dr. Sara went above and beyond in fixing it expertly and with great care. I can’t say enough positive things about Dr. Sara and her staff! They are professional, yet personable and really care about my health and happiness. Dr. Sara listens to her patients and does not recommend unnecessary dental procedures unlike many other dental providers. They are great about working with my busy schedule and they always follow up with sincerity and thoughtfulness after my procedures. After the great experience of mine even my wife and kids switched to her.
