Taqueria El Pollo Loco Jr. — Restaurant in Rexburg

Having lived in Mexico, I can honestly say that their food is amazing and their tacos al pastor are the closest in quality I've had since returning to the United States. Their tortas are also incredibly filling and satisfying. It's hard to find a good torta in the US, and these aren't bad. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is their horchata. It doesn't taste fresh, but honestly, it's really hard to find some good horchata and everywhere in Rexburg seems to suffer from this. But all in all, I seriously recommended their food truck, especially for their tacos al pastor, and I will be returning for their gorditas....

It's hard to find good tamales at restaurants and stuff. These are probably the best tamales I've had that were not homemade. It's $10 for 6. They are quite filling and pretty spicy in my opinion hahaha. The staff is super friendly and chill, and they had the tamales ready in 5 minutes or so. I'll definitely come back to try other items. i waited at the truck for 40 minutes, i ordered corn, two tacos and quesadilla. the corn and tacos came out on time. after they put out our corn and tacos they threw away my ticket and i have to remind them twice about my quesadilla. took almost an hour to get my quesadilla. when the lady was had handed me my quesadilla she didn’t even recognize me from the last time she handed out our corn and tacos, i feel like that shows how long it took. super upsetting and i didnt get any compensation...
