Came here on a whim, fortunately was well pleased with the experience here.
Presentation: A modern look, the friendly graphic design around the restaurant is appealing for churning the childish mindset of simply eating which is well received.
Cleanliness: Effort is made to keep clean though at times you may find yourself cleaning up after yourself or toilet paper running out on rare occasions.
Food: With a variety of options to choose from it comes down to what’s desired. The freedom to allocate your portions at no charge is appealing suffice to say and the spice levels while varying I would recommend a fair 3-4 for newcomers though personally I always stick with a “Sloppy” 10 due to my preference for a nice burn at no extra charge for the sauce portions.
Staff: Ironically quite friendly, Hannah, Connor and Tara have made my experience here great. The alarming “Fire in The Hole” chant is always a plus with the enthusiasm given at albeit strained effort each time which gives one cause to crack a laugh.
Pricing: A fair $11-$12 would be recommended to have on hand after taxes and the like but I find it a worthwhile bowl that can fill you up well. Otherwise, nab yourself two bowls if you’re brave enough to down multiple bowls.
Overall: A fine establishment, you can’t go wrong in terms of food and service though just be sure you aren’t picky about the place being clean consistently when a rush occurs and if you’re prone to rushing to the restroom during/after eating perhaps check it beforehand.

Read moreThe food is good. I enjoyed it alot. In fact I even plan on coming here relatively regularly as it's nice to have a place in Rexburg that isn't sodas or burgers. It's the fresh new thing Rexburg needed. However, there are some improvements needed. So far I've gone twice, the amount of food given was inconsistent both times between me and my wife. There definitely needs to be some uniformity there so I don't end up with just rice left as that was the majority of my meal.
I'm not all entirely sure how to fix the second one however. The second time we went the workers were talking to each other, they asked if my wife wanted sesame seed which she clearly stated no, the worker however was too involved with talking to her coworker that she ignored what my wife said and did it anyway. Then my wife had to repeat 4 times that she said no thank you to the sesame seeds before the worker finally paid attention to what she was saying. This isn't anything really to do with the store, just more along the lines of the employee. However it still affects my rating as it's annoying especially when you need the customers input for you to be ignored because you want to chat up your coworker.
Update: I've dropped my review another star. Despite the stellar food the customer service and is lacking. My wife went in again today asking for no coleslaw. They ended up not putting noodles in it either. Then deciding instead of remaking it properly to simply give another bowl...
Read moreTonight we arrived around 8:20 PM and were immediately told that they close at 9. We tried to order K Dawgs but were informed the fryers had already been shut off and were again reminded that they close at 9. We were encouraged to come earlier next time if we wanted certain menu items—and yes, reminded again that they close at 9.
They were also out of Rock and Snow chicken, so they substituted Ugly Chicken with cold sauce on top. The chicken was clearly old—hard, dry, and almost painful to eat. It had clearly been sitting for a long time and shouldn’t have been served.
After we ordered (it was around 8:35 we met our family for a late dinner), our food was quickly bagged up with, once again, a reminder that they close at 9. Additional guests came in behind us, and both employees continued making offhand remarks about people coming in close to closing time.
Despite the pushback, we sat down to dine in as planned and were out by 9. After we left, we saw an employee through the window throwing a tantrum about having to clean the table we ate at.
It’s incredibly disappointing. Quality food and a welcoming atmosphere should be provided until closing—not just when it’s convenient for the staff. I’ve always loved Cupbop and have never had a bad experience at any other location, but unfortunately, we won’t be returning to the...
