TLDR:
Yes this USED TO BE SODA VINE. And NO IT IS NO LONGER LIKE SODA VINE.
If you want mixed soda go across the street to Great Scottâs instead. It has the price and taste you found at Soda Vine.
Youâre welcome! đ
Alrighty, letâs get into this! Walking in the decor is hilarious. đ¤ŁThey took out the wall of records so now the place is very open, which wouldnât be a bad thing! If it werenât for the fact the place looks EMPTY. There are like 3 tables each with four chairs and itâs attempting to look âmodernâ with space spinny chairs (super fun to spin in! Not comfortable to sit in for a long time). Thereâs one single teal couch up against the wall and Merch! For who? The ghosts who live there?
The atmosphere is not exciting. Itâs boring. And there was only a couple in there beside me and my sister so it made it feel like a âghost townâ vibe. Granted itâs a Monday and finals week but I remember finals week just about everyone not in class was at soda vine.
So thatâs just the initial take in of the place. Now letâs talk about the menu and ordering!
The nameâs of their drink mixes reminds me of a parent who misheard the âCool wordsâ kids use these days and are trying to be âhipâ and âcoolâ but are just cringy.
Also calling a drink âRusty Nailâ just reads to me âCome on in! Weâve got tetanus!â My sister did try it though and thought it tasted good but the name is not one youâd think âOh yeah! I really love drinking Rusty Nails!â
If someone heard you say this theyâd be very concerned about you.
THE PRICES ARE HIDDEN Wanna know how much itâll cost? Youâll have to ask because there are no prices shown.
TO MANAGEMENT: Do not hide your prices from your menu. That is shady and when your customers are college students on budgets. . . thatâs on the border of being manipulative. So yikes that needs a major fix.
NO RECEIPT Oh and they donât offer a receipt. Maybe this is just the employeeâs mistake because she was in a hurry to get back to conversation about boys with her co-worker. Literally we were trying to decide on what we wanted and she goes âWhen youâre ready just ring the bell.â and then went to talk in the back. Bruh, the employees donât even wanna be here.
SIZES Smaller sizes, higher prices. Yikes.
NOW TO THE DRINK I wanted the Pina Colada Pete, a drink of the wondrous Soda Vine but they donât have that so I had it custom made! Turns out there is a delicate balance for how much flavoring you put in because I was handed a mountain dew drenched with Red raspberry. Where was the coconut and pineapple? It didnât taste good at all. But hey the crunchy ice was still good!
Feeling very disappointed we left and I didnât bother ordering my favorite foods because they werenât there. Oh but they do still have pretzels! Highly doubt they are any good. Granted, thatâs just speculation, who knows they could be amazing. Iâll let someone else give the review on the food.
OVERALL This place had good intentions, but it lacks the passion and atmosphere of its predecessor, Soda Vine. A menu of old Soda Vine drink mixes would be a great way to honor both the new and old. Changes are needed to attract customers.
In the end, I may try going there again but only if changes are made. As it stands, itâs just a building of broken dreams and shadowed by what it used to be.

Read moreFirst let me just say I was a really big fan of soda vine and was sad to see it go. When I went into fixxology during the transition period, I didn't know what to expect. I decided to try one of their slushies with Italian ice in it and it was $3 dollars for just a 12 oz drink. But what I didn't love even more was how the drink tasted. I chose to have a classic lemonade, peach flavor I had one liked when soda vine still existed. It was not a very good drink and I would not recommend it to anyone. In my personal opinion, it was meh and wasn't worth the price. I believe that fixxology needs to try to bring back some of the drinks and flavors they once had at soda vine to help boost their marketability. Oh and it really didn't seem like any of the workers wanted to be there which was very different vibe of people who worked there when it was soda vine. The atmosphere in the past made it seem welcoming and cozy and now it seems very quiet and not...
Read moreTo say I typically come here daily is an understatement! Iâm there usually twice a day. My experience has always been good and the employees are very nice and typically know me and my order. I order 4 drinks and typically some type of cookies or pretzels. I went this morning got 5 drinks. Things were fine except the 3- 2 oâclock fixes they all tasted gross. They got thrown away. I then went back this afternoon. Bought 4- 2 oâclock fixes, 1 chick magnet, 1 small root beer and the cookie of the month. Again the 2 oâclock fixes were gross. So this time I called to let them know of my experience and the woman said sorry sometime products go bad! That was it! Iâm really disappointed that this is how it turned out. Not sure if I will go back, which is sad cause I also have 4 of the...
