Advertised as only costing $25 for the booth but fail to mention they take 40% of earnings. This would not be an issue if I felt it was adequately communicated to me before paying or had the option to cancel given how far in advance I contacted them. I attempted to cancel my booking two weeks in advance on the first business day after booking, they said it wasn't possible and that the split is "clearly stated on their Instagram, website, and terms and conditions." I was unable to find anything regarding the split on their Instagram and would hardly call one mention hidden in their FAQ section of their website and terms "clearly stated." Just be aware before signing up to sell, I am extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency or accountability.
Edit: Preloved's communication has been extremely passive aggressive, with them sending screenshots of all the places the split is stated rather than doing any work to resolve the issue. I've attached the screenshots, which include: -An instagram highlight -a mention in the second paragraph of the caption of an instagram reel -an image of the terms of service, which is displayed as an expandable link that you do not have to read before agreeing to -The FAQ's on their website If these are the only mentions of this that they can provide, two of which are on social media that is not involved in the booking process, they are being willfully deceiving. Additionally, not only is there no option of cancellation (which also not mentioned anywhere until I reached out to them), but if I choose not to set up a booth due to time constraints I am charged an extra $20. Overall I am extremely frustrated with this. If they were acting in good faith there is no reason for me not to be able to cancel two weeks in advance on the first business day after my booking after realizing I would not have time with my schoolwork and that the split would not make it worth it. I will no longer be supporting this business and I would encourage any other college students to avoid it and just donate your clothes to the Family Crisis Center...
Read moreI had a good experience the first time I sold items, but the second time I had a jacket stolen from my booth. I wanted to report it stolen to the police but I was told the store’s security cameras were not working and they could not tell me who the individual was that took the jacket. I had already had a booth booked the following week and had another item taken and not accounted for. I didn’t even bother telling them about this item because I was already informed that there was nothing they could do. They couldn’t re-imburse me and wouldn’t even re-imburse the fee for the booth. Overall, if you’re selling items here, please watch them carefully (or just sell your nice items on Poshmark), but if you like stealing clothes or changing the vendor tags to get a $75 jacket for $2 without any consequences or anyone stopping you, this is the place for you...
Read moreI have found some super awesome stuff here however, I am very disappointed, I purchase two of the items that they had shown on their Instagram and I picked it up, and when I got home I smelled this awful awful perfume smell. Now mind you I do not wear perfume, I can’t wear it. The baby hat that I bought smelled like this disgusting old person like perfume. Follow the instructions washed it with baking soda and borax. The smell still did not come out; I then soaked it in dish soap and vinegar, the smell still did not come out. From what I know I know I can’t return the item. It would be nice if the items did not smell like perfume. Still will shop here in the future. I just will actually come in the store and make sure that the items do not smell like heavy,...
