My boyfriend, his daughter and I had decided to grab some subs on 4/5/2019 for lunch. My boyfriend is constantly raving about how amazing Jersey Mike’s was and I wanted to give it a try for the first time. I have to be honest, this will probably be the last time I go to Jersey Mike’s for awhile.
1.) There was a long line of people waiting to be helped. We were all waiting for service for a little over 5 minutes while the employees stood around with lost looks on their faces. 3.) There was one person manning the meat slicer, one preparing about 8-10 subs. One standing by the register not making eye contact with anyone or helping the one person making the subs. There was one person manning the grill while two appeared to be lost and unsure of what to do. With the amount of staff, I was surprised they had messed up all of our orders. 2.) They messed up my boyfriends order as well as the couple after us by giving my bf and the couple behind us in line a half wheat and half white sub as my boyfriend had asked for a wheat bread sub and the couple behind us asked for a white sub. When he opened the paper wrapping to his sandwich, his sub was completely soaked in fixings. It was so soggy that everything had fallen apart. They also forgot to add bacon when he had asked three times to get it added but was still charged for the missing bacon. 3.) I had ordered a chicken Caesar wrap. When I opened up the paper wrapping, my wrap was drenched in Caesar dressing inside and outside of the wrap. I wiped the access dressing from the outside of the wrap (tortilla) with a napkin and only half of the wrap had chicken while the rest of it was just lettuce and dressing.

Read moreI would like to start off saying that Jersey Mike's is my favorite sandwich shop. I frequent this restaurant often for lunch. With the distance I have to drive on my lunch break, I only have enough time to grab my sandwich and go. I use the mobile app to order ahead so the sandwich is ready when I get there in case there is a line. The reason I have taken 2 stars off is that the mobile order system gets overwhelmed around lunchtime and the promised time isn't always correct. On two separate visits lately I have ordered ahead only to have to wait around the restaurant for the sandwich to be made. (I always order one sandwich, no customization) On these two visits, there were no people in line. Customers arrived after I did, ordered their sandwich, paid and then left before I would receive my sandwich that I should have had long ago. Waited for 5 minutes after pressing the I’m here button on the app for it to be brought out. Called and was told they were really busy so it will be a while. I explained that I ordered my sandwich over a half hour ago and there’s no excuse for it not being ready. They told me it would be out in a few minutes which they were truthful about. But the young woman that brought it out was less than friendly. When I said thank you she simply walked away and said absolutely nothing. Very disappointed this is not my normal experience with Jersey Mike’s. Typically it is exactly the opposite of this. I completely understand the store being busy but if you’ve got somebody that has ordered their sandwich well before somebody walked in the door that customer should come first.
