Exceptional Service at McDonald's on Canyon Springs
Last night, I visited the McDonald's on Canyon Springs and was greeted by an extraordinary young lady at the cashier window. Despite not knowing her name, I remember her as KS number 14, side one, who served me at 10:40 PM, order number 92.
From the moment I approached the window, her demeanor was nothing short of pleasant, friendly, and utterly professional. It was one of those days where nothing seemed to go right for me, but her warm welcome and genuine kindness were like a beacon in the night. She had a way with words, a politeness that was both refreshing and sincere, making me feel valued and appreciated.
Her simple acts of courtesy, saying "thank you" and wishing me a "great night," might seem small, but they had a significant impact on my evening. It's rare to encounter someone who not only performs their job with such grace but also goes above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect. She got my order spot-on, down to the extra sauces, without me having to ask for anything more.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to her. Her compassion and friendliness turned my entire day around. It's amazing how a little kindness can go such a long way. So, to KS number 14, your efforts did not go unnoticed, and I hope this review serves as a token of my gratitude for the magic you bring to this McDonald's location.đ
Rollercoaster of Frustration
I recently swung by this McDonaldâs on Day St. in Moreno Valley, CA, and let me tell you, it was a rollercoaster of frustration. đ˘
Ordering Chaos: Picture this: Iâm juggling my daughterâs hunger, her job, and her college classes. Weâre in a rush, and Iâm counting on McDonaldâs to be our savior. But the lady at the counter? She was a one-woman chaos machine. Rude, overwhelmed, and incapable of multitasking. I half-expected her to break into interpretive dance just to complete our order.
Window Slam:Â Finally got through that chaos, got my receipt, and as I'm trying to ask for condiments, she slams the window shut like sheâs auditioning for a WWE match. Iâm left there, condiment-less and bewildered. . At the next window, the lady is no better, she thrusts our food at us like sheâs passing a baton in a relay race at the Olympics. No chance to get a word on & ask for ketchup or napkins. Apparently, theyâre on a strict âcondiments by request onlyâ policy. Newsflash: Iâm not a mind reader; I just want my dang ketchup! Not cool, McDonaldâs. Not cool!!
Recommendation: McDonaldâs, basic courtesy and Customer Service IS NOT optional. Step up your game! đđĽ Train your staff better, and maybeâjust maybeâthrow in a...

I ordered a mocha frappe and a pie, when asking for the pie, she asked me what size and I replied with they come in different sizes? Thinking to myself maybe she didnt hear me correctly until she said "yes you you wanted a pie right" then when I said yes continued like nothing happened (she already confirmed the size of my drink prior to this) which confused me because the pies don't come in different sizes.
Not a big deal though but then I get to the window and she tells me they're out of mocha frappes so whatever again I just replace it with a different drink slightly annoyed she wouldn't have told me that when ordering it.
I go to get the food and they give me everything except the pie and when asking about it the guys like we didn't charge you for a pie it's not on your receipt. I explain what happened thinking maybe when she replaced the drink she messed up the new order to which the guy responds with oh were not out of mocha frappes we even made it for you but threw it away. I asked for clarification, confused which he didn't seem sure either and was like maybe the menu said that or something I dunno. I asked to see the receipt at this point because so far because of their incompetence I start to suspect it's possible they over charged me which the guy seemed annoyed by this and was like just take the pie man and ended up not charging me for it which was cool at least.
Long story short I would go out of my way to eat at any other mc donalds other than here. Trust me when I say the exta time you spend to go somewhere else is worth it because you'd spend just as long at this one, end up stressed out, confused, and with food you don't want because they supposedly run out just to later found out they actually didn't.
Save yourself the hassle and...
Read moreI feel for the workers. I truly, absolutely do. I'm a veteran of retail and service industry, I understand the stress. However, I don't think we've had a correct order here in a long time.
The last time we went, ordered in the drive thru, handed wrong order. Went inside to swap and get our correct order, the manager Victor at the time handed what was supposed to be the correct order. Got all the way home to realize it was EVEN MORE of a wrong order.
Tonight we decided to give the benefit of the doubt as we've seen tons of new people working there. Ordered two #3s, said it was such. Girl who took our payment even reiterated as such. Get handed our food, get home and the burgers are beyond wrong and freezing cold, as if they just grabbed any box that had been laying there for hours.
I can't even say that they were busy as they were only taking 2-4 orders at a time. How do you mess up so badly?????? So, we paid an additional probably $10 for dollar menu burgers, and we paid using EBT which can take literal weeks to refund, only after I have to use my own time tomorrow, go in, wait for management, fill out paperwork, mail the paperwork, and wait for a refund because it's happened to me in the past.
Truly don't think we trust this location anymore to not waste our money, gas and time.
*EDIT TO ADD: I decided to try and eat the wrong burger that I received, and it turns out; ITS. RAW!!!! Picture for proof đ¤Śââď¸
EDIT 12/19 it's been a month and we decided to give them another shot... Just to receive an even MORE raw burger! Lol this spot just ain't it at all,...
