"Over staffed, yet under staffed" First ignore the 2 stars for food because I didn't eat. I had planned to but no one ever offered to take a food order, thus my first comment. There were several people that just seemed to stand around, take up space, and for the most part ignore customers. I was sitting at the bar so it was pretty easy to see I had a menu in front of me. I finished my beer and since no one asked to take a food order, left and went down the road to eat where my business was appreciated. There is no shortage of good restaurants in Rockport/Fulton area. The food I did see come out looked good, so I am not deterring anyone from giving it a try. However, not sure when I'll be back. Hopefully the management reads these reviews, as I notice a couple of other ones that mention poor service. All I can say, if I managed the place, there would be less employees that are only tanking up space and some that bust their tail putting smiles on the...

I have been in food service my whole life, from the bottom to the top. I was shocked by the unwelcoming feeling we received. No greetings no sign to seat myself, no attention from anyone for 9 minutes. I'm like that. I didn't trip. Our server acted as if we were I bother. I told her it was our first time. Asked for any suggestions.. nothing. It was like pulling air out of a deflated tired. Food so dry over cooked frozen meat products. So gross! We had a Philly and a blue cheese burger and a fried shrimp basket. Horrible. Although. Ido have to say the only decent thing was the fries. And the fact that the game was on every corner of the room. If I was to ever go back. It would only to watch a game and a beer.. well maybe they didn't have any oranges for my blue moon either.. so I drank a stale coors light.. I wish nothing but the...

The shrimp tacos were disappointing in their meagerness with the protein amounting to a few salad shrimp and a few diced shreds of cabbage. The beans were almost as substantial as the tacos, but were unfortunately a bit mushy. I thoroughly enjoyed the reasonably priced shrimp sandwich and found the split roll loaded with rotund, meaty shrimps. It was enhanced by the cole slaw that I strewed across the protein whose presence would have been monochromatic otherwise. I devoured the French fries that were amply provided and seasoned with meat tenderizer and would order this meal again...but would carry it out on account of the overwhelming smoke smell that one can not escape within the confines of the rustic establishment. The young lady attended to us well, though, in the...

Came here for the first time with the family last night. Service was good, and the atmosphere was like bar/grill/ saloon style? Which is OK. What did bother me was the lady smoking a cigarette up in the front of the restaurant. There are signs that say NO SMOKING but she was clearly smoking a cigarette and you could smell it. We sat in the back half of the restaurant and you could still smell it strongly. Not something you want to smell when you're about to eat. Wings, fries, and chicken quesadillas good. Key lime pie was too limey like sour. Fiancé did not like his shrimp poor boy. Bread was hard and just wasn't worth the price. Oh and we asked to sit in the outside patio and the waitress told us we could but it be self serve? And if we needed anything we'd have to come down.

Poor Man’s Country Club We received a warm welcome right when we walked in, and the drinks came out fast — always a good start. The tables and chairs were sturdy and comfortable, and the waitress, Faith, was a nice young lady — very polite and attentive. The menus looked a bit ratty and worn, could use some refreshing, but the overall vibe was relaxed and friendly. There’s a beautiful view of the bay that really adds to the experience. The hot wings are good. The only downside (and the reason for four stars instead of five) is that they still allow smoking inside — yuck. It’s 2025… let’s keep that outside, folks.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! So, the family decided on this restaurant and now regret making the decision to walk into the door. Burnt over seasoned extremely salty fish. I took a bite and spit it out it was so bad! The smallest tacos I've ever ordered with almost no cabbage in any of them. $15 each for the taco meals... Boudin egg rolls were left in the fryer too long and came out burned too. We were so famished from a long day we ate what we could out of our order. Paid a ridiculous amount of money for the tiny overcooked food that was brought to us and left as quickly as possible. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!
